Beautiful property and perfect location!

We absolutely loved our stay at Walton Rose. We had a large group and everyone fit comfortably. The house was clean and a very short walk to the beach. We also loved the proximity to Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Girls Weekend in Rosemary

Had a wonderful time staying here, and would definitely visit again. This house is perfect for large groups: there was plenty of space for everyone and it is so conveniently located near the beach and near downtown Rosemary. Communication was quick and efficient. I cannot recommend enough

Everything was all good- i suggest the owner gets shades for the top windows in the bedrooms as it gets very light in the morning. Buy higher end /softer pillows for the beds and I also strongly suggest the owner buy bigger tvs for the bedrooms.Other than that- all was excellent.

The house was beautiful! Loads of space to enjoy inside and out! Everything was extremely clean and very well stocked! Enjoyed having a large kitchen and fridge for the week. Tons of beach chairs and umbrellas to use during our stay was a wonderful bonus! Communication with the management company was super easy! The only small down fall was lack of parking at the house. It was a tight squeeze trying to get 4 cars at the house. But we would absolutely stay here again!!

Very nice house with some caveats

House was very nice and as advertised. It was spacious and was well stoked for our evening meals. Plenty of space. Only a few items of note: 1) Don't assume that walking out to the closest entry point to the beach will mean space to setup your umbrella and chairs. There are several other property owners which block access to the beach and you'll get told to move. 2) use the golf cart to setup closer to the state park and you'll be fine. 3) Note that due to protection gates everywhere on property that carrying anything outside is a two person job. 4) lastly access to the carriage house is a bit cumbersome and there is no way to make it over in the rain without getting wet. You'll have to take an umbrella or wait it out. Would recommend staying again. We had a group of 17.

Walton Rose

We had a great stay at Walton Rose. The property was as-advertised with a nice pool and convenient beach access. The house was clean on arrival and well-appointed. The check-in process was easy. The property manager did a good job of communicating all relevant information before we arrived.The main downside of the property was its design. While every individual space is enjoyable, the lack of flow between rooms and floors was a problem. Navigating the house with luggage and beach gear ranged from annoying to fairly difficult. The stand- alone garage felt like an afterthought, and the primary entrance to the home was narrow and double-gated. There were also some minor issues I would not have expected to see with a property in this area. The ice machine broke and leaked through the floor on day one (*fixed very promptly), the second floor dryer did not work, several doors were misaligned and hard to shut, and I had to reattach one of the door handles. All that said, we had a very nice time as a family and would recommend the property.

The management company was great to work with. They were quick to respond to any issues or problems we had with the property. I do however hope the owners of the property resolve some issues for future guests, especially given the cost. This includes doing a full audit of the kitchen and utensils. There is no small condiment trays or cups with lids or small bowls or knives to skin a fruit like a mango or even a fish. They are lacking major things you need to cook well in the home. The house also creaks terribly so you would never want to have a young child sleeping downstairs below the kitchen when people get up in the morning. The blow dryers aren't great and easily suck in your hair when blow drying so you have to be super careful. The pool is super tiny so I would not suggest having a float in it. The distribution of the rooms is odd and not ideal for a family or families with little ones especially if you want to be on the same level as your kids. The outdoor furniture next to the pool also has no shade, and the putting green is kind of gross and a waste is space (it's tiny and seems like an afterthought). The countertops are also super high in some of the bathrooms and the storage / furniture pieces aren't good quality and the handles kept popping off.
