A disaster experience

This was the worst travel experience our family has ever had. It was our first time travelling in Bali. This villa was our first accommodation in Bali, and it was extremely disappointing. All the bathrooms had open roofs, making them unbearably hot and full of mosquitoes. My daughter was too scared to use the bathrooms. Moreover, there were no anti-slip measures and protections around the swimming pool, and the tiles used around the pool were not slip-resistant. On the first afternoon after we arrived, my wife slipped and fell down after stepping out of the pool, which resulted in a fractured wrist. At the time of the incident, we were unable to reach the butler and had to arrange an ambulance by ourselves to take her to a local hospital for surgery. We ended up staying two nights at the hospital, and my wife and I couldn’t return to the villa. This incident caused us significant financial strain, with medical bills totaling over AUD 23,000. On top of that, we were forced to cancel all the tours of our trip. This villa not only failed to provide a safe and comfortable environment, but it also ruined our vacation and left us with lasting consequences.
