Newly built cabin with rustic design, nestled on the edge of the lake, with beautiful sunsets and peaceful morning breezes.
Newly added is a six person shared hot tub, in a wooded area to the side of the property , under a covered gazebo. Enjoy the lake by kayak, paddle board, or take a refreshing swim. Explore local trails by mountain bike or hike in wooded areas or along the oceans edge.
This one bedroom, cottage has all of the modern perks, with in floor heat, heat pump for earth or air conditioning. Charming decor with handcrafted barn style doors, spacious shower, coffee keurig, kettle, under counter fridge, and multi use convection oven, or barbecue outside with side burner.
Enjoy a peaceful campfire on the edge of the lake. Or sit and enjoy the bird sounds, lapping water , spring peepers and bullfrogs. Enjoy your luck at freshwater fishing. We are located in the heart of Acadie - enjoy the local French culture and cuisine. Proud Acadian roots since 1604.
We are 3 km from the the ocean and minutes from two of the most beautiful beaches and provincial parks.
Do as much or as little as you like. The adventure possibilities are endless.

It was an ok cabin more coffee selection would be better as it was only decaf and bed was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in but other than that a great experience loved the Lakeview

Cabin was very nice but needs some small maintenance. Electrical plug at left of the sink has loose connections. Trim on left of bedroom "barn door" needs nailing. Shower has low water pressure. Only one table spoon in cutlery set and no serving spoons.These are minor issues biut would add to the enjoyment of the stay

Everything was clean. Cottage what we expected. Similar to Glamping!!!Love our view and the “CLEAN” hot tub. Needs a regular drip coffee maker. Wonderful host. TY Wendy

Arrival process was excellent.Kitchen was clean and all accessories were available to us.One small comment. The coffee machine had a few glitches. Nothing major.

Lake Doucette cabin

Lovely view from our cabin on the lake. A short drive to Yarmouth and Cap Forchu. Missed having a hot plate to cook on rather than a bbq, but would not deter us from coming again.
