Would not recommend this unit. Stained carpet, old uncomfortable furniture, bathtub calking needs help. Not worth the price. Bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Galvestonian pool, beach and etc. were lovely.

Love the Galvestonian, but left a little disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointed in the unit. Sliding glass door wouldn’t open to the balcony. Wifi password didn’t work, told management about it, but nothing was fixed during our stay.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry the sliding balcony door and WiFi issues affected your stay, especially after you brought them to our attention. This is not the experience we want for our guests. Your concerns have been shared with our maintenance team and the individual condo owner so both items can be inspected and properly addressed. We sincerely apologize that they were not resolved while you were here and appreciate you bringing them to our attention.

For a last minute booking it was okay. Direct walk to the beach, and easy check in and check out. But this unit definitely needs updated. The bathtub wouldn’t drain so you had standing water to your ankles. And this unit had disgusting carpet that felt gummy. So we wore shoes the entire time. And we had some weird brown stuff smeared on our wall so that wasn’t pleasant. And you were unable to turn the air down past 70 and this unit stayed HOT!!!! But like I said for a last minute booking it was ok.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and pictures. 💙🌊 We're glad to hear you enjoyed our easy check-in and check-out process, as well as the convenient beach access. We're very sorry to learn that the condition of the unit did not meet your expectations. The issues you mentioned regarding the slow-draining bathtub, carpet condition, wall cleanliness, and cooling concerns are certainly not the experience we want our guests to have. Your comments have been shared with the condo owner and our maintenance team so these items can be reviewed and addressed. We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us improve both our condos and the overall guest experience. Thank you for choosing The Galvestonian, and we hope you'll consider staying with us again in one of our many unique condos in the future. 🏖️💙✨

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Relaxing 3 day weekend. Galvestonian is the best location in Galveston. Beautiful beach. Nice pool. Unit 505 is a bit dated. The carpet is dirty. Otherwise a nice condo.

A guest who has been renting for many years.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo would have been fine except for the dirty rug and no space for clothing despite a locked armoire and dresser in the bdrm. The other problem was the extreme winds for the 11 days we were there.
VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2025 年 6 月 18 日)
John, thank you for your review of your stay. We will take care of the rug and notify the owner for a replacement. We are sorry mother nature was not cooperative during your stay. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us.

Vacation Refresh

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Needed a mental break, so we took a trip to Galveston. Had a wonderful time relaxing on the beach complete with lounge chairs & an umbrella, eating seafood, going on a dolphin tour, riding the ferry, and cruising the Seawall. We stayed in a condominium at The Galvestonian on the east end. It sits right on the beach and has a private bridge over the sand dunes to the sandy beach. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Our room was nice and had been updated with the latest kitchen appliances, a very comfortable king sized bed with pristine white linens, and lovely furniture throughout. We also enjoyed the balcony which had two comfortable chairs and two side tables. The staff was very helpful and seemed truly glad to be there. We will definitely return to The Galvestonian on our next trip to Galveston!
