Ideal location. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. We gathered around the large dining table every evening for dinner and games that are provided by the host. Three bathrooms worked out great. She supplied wood for a fire, although we did not use the fireplace.

Scituate Stay

Had a great stay! The place was just perfect us for the 10k race in Cohasset. Beth was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again. Loved being able to walk up to the beach!

Awesome location!

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Everything we could possibly need was there - tons of towels, cooking tools, appliances, etc. We enjoyed many walks on the beach as it was just a few blocks away. It was clean and spacious for our group. I did want to mention that the drains in the upstairs bathroom were running a bit slow, and some of the mattresses and pillows likely need to be replaced.

Everything and more

The pictures are accurate but the sense of serenity cannot be captured, only felt. The house was perfect, lending itself to meals cooked and enjoyed outside, obvious cleanliness throughout and room for teens to have their privacy but also to join in for family games. The beach REALLY is a short walk away and simply lovely. We all had a magical Memorial Day weekend. throughout

Amazing, comfortable beach house

I rented this property for my sisters law school graduation in Boston for some of the family in town. I was pleasantly surprised with how lovely the place was. The common spaces were large and comfortable and the rooms were also very nice. The beach is a quick walk down the block. The beach is lovely and the neighborhood made us feel like we were friends of the Kennedy’s. The drive to Boston wasn’t horrible and it was nice to have a relaxing spot away from the city.

Absolutely wonderful!

Great area for a family vacation. Beth is friendly and her home is very nice in a great location. Nice backyard for entertaining and cool air conditioning indoors for relaxing.

Perfect Scituate beach house!

This is a really great spot for a stay near Minot Beach! Steps to the ocean, in a very walkable neighborhood, can’t beat the location. House and yard was very clean, and Beth was super accommodating when we needed to extend our stay (twice!). I would highly recommend this spot and would look to use again for a short term stay.

Peaceful and convenient

We had a great stay at this house. The location was wonderful, just a short walk to the ocean and conveniently located for shops and restaurants in Scituate and Cohasset. Very clean, with a great kitchen, plenty of space, and comfortable beds. We hope to stay again in the future!

Great location

This house is located in a great location, a few blocks from the ocean. The house is equipped with everything one may need while on vacation. However, it definately could use some TLC as it has many things which don't feel clean. The couch in the living room is stained, many of the shades do not work in the house, there are curtains but they are falling off. Some of the bedding is also stained and the beds don't offer much support as they seem like very worn mattresses. If those things were attended to, I would definately recommend this house as a vacation rental.

We love visiting Scituate!

We had a great time and the house was perfect for our short visit. We enjoyed walking around Minot and taking our dogs to the beach. The house was perfect for hosting our family dinner. We hope to come back and visit the house again!

Great location and house!

This was our second stay in 2021 at this property and Beth and Dan were super helpful and responsive to all our questions. The house is so warm and friendly and was perfect for our stay.

Comfortable stay in Scituate

We had a great time visiting Scituate this fall. Our small family was in town to see extended family, and this was a great place to stay. Plenty of rooms and beds so cousins could do a sleepover, and a great dining table for game night! Very comfortable and so close to the water and an easy drive to coffee, Scituate Harbor and more.

Loved it

We all enjoyed our stay so much. The house is beautiful and the grounds as well. It was do nice to dry up at night and see the beautiful house in the dark with the light on inside. The house is beautiful, welcoming and cozy. Bedrooms were perfect and parking was convenient as well. The children so enjoyed the little sitting room/playroom with all the toys and books. We did not even have to unpack the toys we brought with us. The neighborhood was beautiful and the walk to the beach was lovely. Sunrise and the ocean was breathtaking. We loved it and would book this house again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much.

Wonderful Vacation Property

The house was perfect for our extended family stay (2-79 years old!). Spacious, great kitchen and backyard. Very close to the beach. We would definitely stay again. Owner very responsive.

Perfect Long Weekend Getaway

I rented this house for my family from Vermont to enjoy the salty air and boy it did not disappoint. It was such a treat! So much room and such a warm home. To top it all off it is a short walk to the beach! What a delight! Beth was so communicative on any and all questions I had. Everything went swimmingly. My family definitely enjoyed their weekend and will be back!

Very Nice place, just needs a little work

Enjoyed the house and location, just a few observations. Pictures need updating expected twin beds there were bunk beds, back door to deck didn’t lock. Screen door slammed that led out to driveway. Grill needed cleaning. Shades missing in bedroom.

I grew up in Minot, and know what an absolutely amazing place it is for kids to spend summers. We bought this house so our son can make some of those same magical memories! Since we can't be in Scituate all the time, we're renting the home out so that other families can take advantage of this spot too!

Close to the beach, safe & quiet dead end street, perfect for families or groups of friends wanting to enjoy Minot. The deck and yard are ideal for cookouts, and in the off season, there's nothing better than cozying up in front of the wood burning fire.
