Located downtown Wilmington, just 4 miles from Whiteface Mountain Ski Center, The Bougie Lodge is your four season destination for skiing/snowboarding, mountain/road biking, hiking, kayaking, and more! Wonderfully close to Whiteface mountain. The hot tub was an excellent amenity to have as well. The unit was missing some basic cooking items (oil, vinegar, etc) and the heater needed some management to keep the place from feeling like an oven. Overall, it was extremely cosy and a pleasure to stay at. Would stay again in the future!

This was a wonderful place to stay. We were 20 minutes or so from everything you want to do. There's a small grocery store nearby and a waterfall in the park around the corner. The owner provides most everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day of walking. The only problem we found has already been reported to the owner and doesnt warrant rating this anything other than excellent. The issue we reported was the faucet in the kitchen has one handle for hot and cold. It's too close to the wall to really get hot water but it was luke warm. There's a dishwasher so it was fine. There is no closet or dressers but the selves provided were perfect.

Convenient location

Cute place with well stocked kitchen! The hot tub was a nice way to unwind after a day of excursions. Centrally located to Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Minutes to White Face Mountain and High Falls Gorge. Loved all the fishing/hiking/swimming pullouts on 86 between Wilmington and Lake Placid. Beautiful area!

Location and bedding

We booked this property for the 2 king bedrooms and the convenient location in Wilmington. Highlights include short walk to a great fishing spot, hot tub evenings with mountain breezes, washing machine and kind host proximity to Whitefacs Mtn/Memorial Hwy, Flume Falls, High Falls Gorge, Hungry Trout and Lake Placid. Some things to note for summer travelers - the AC is a small unit in kitchen that does not reach the bedrooms so you will need to rely on opening windows and running fans to cool down. The neighborhood was quiet in early/mid June.

Cute and comfortable

This little house was perfect for our needs. We were spending a few days skiing at Whiteface and it was minutes from the hill. We used the hot tub which was lovely. It would be nice to know what things can go in the recycling bin. I made the assumption that cardboard, cans and glass could be recycled and put these in the blue (assumed recycling) bin by the fence. Thanks for having a comfortable, cosy place for us to rest our heads for our adventures in the area.

Whiteface ski trip

This was one of the best trips we ever took. It was a beautiful house in a quaint town without the commercialized touristy traps. The house was the perfect size for our family and the hot tub was a great amenity. The host was very responsive when we had a few questions. It was also really close to Whiteface which was super convenient when we went skiing.

Storybook Christmas

We booked the cabin for a long Christmas weekend. The entire surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. The cabin in a short 5 minute drive to snowboarders delight at Whiteface Mountain. We had a great time with our family. This property is quiet and central to pizza shop behind it, and a local store and a few restaurants. Short drive into lake placid. Will stay here againLoved it

Relaxing Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The purpose of the visit was to relax and visit some trails with our 2 dogs so being pet friendly was the reason we chose this home. We also enjoyed some time in the hot tub.

Great little place!

Very convenient and comfortable place for our stay. Literally across the street from the park where we were attending the Wilmington MTB festival.
