Relax in stylish comfort at the Hoefer Guest House. Just minutes away from downtown Rapid City and community parks. Enjoy conversation or peaceful silence in the sitting room style living area or head downstairs for movies and entertaining in the versatile family room. Accent lighting & decor have been curated for your enjoyment and comfort.

This 60's home has been extensively renovated and boasts a fresh new look, upgraded technology, new appliances, three queen bedrooms each with Smart TV's, a 65" Smart TV with Theater Sound, and two crisp full bathrooms. Pair up your phone to the Bluetooth area speaker.

Have your morning coffee or end of the day drinks under the covered back patio. Seating and a gas fire pit are perfect for evening chats. Even though the location is in town, deer frequently travel from the back of the property and are a joy to watch. If you walk up the rear of the property, there is a modest horseshoe pit overlooking the back yard.

This property is pet free - however, eligible service animals are always welcome! Please give us advance notice.

Wonderful stay near tourist attractions

My family - including two young kids - took a road trip to South Dakota to visit the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and a few other tourist attractions in the area. This home was a perfect place for us. Very clean, conveniently located, easy access to anything you need for your trip in Rapid City, and good communication from the owner. Highly recommend this home as a base for traveling to all the great sites in the area!

Amazing Stay

This property was perfect for our stay in Rapid City during the Sturgis Rally. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. We were able to use the garage for our 3 motorcycles and the owners were wonderful to work with. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would stay there again! Highly recommend!!!

Charming and relaxing!

This is a lovely, well appointed home in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to grocery stores, etc. There's very comfortable beds and baths as well as lovely spaces to visit with friends and relax. The host was very accomodating and responsive. This is a great vacation or get away spot!

Perfect space

This house was the perfect space for our family on a college tour. Plenty of room for our teenager to be downstairs when he had to work on homework without us interrupting him upstairs. Would definitely stay again.

Quaint Getaway

This home was beautifully decorated with new modern feel. The beds were very comfortable. The 2 levels was great for our family and in-laws staying together. The weather was too cold to enjoy the backyard. We would absolutely stay again next time we are in town attending in town events.

Cozy and relaxing

This house was so cozy and comfortable, had everything you would need for a comfortable vacation stay. Decorated beautifully and the backyard was super cute too! Close to so many things to see and do. Cindy was very responsive and great to communicate with. Had a very nice time!

Crisp, Clean, Sophisticated and Inviting

This little diamond in the rough was a neat and clean with a sophisticated look that was still comfy and cozy for winding down at the end of each day. The area roads are a bit rough, but the place is easy to get to with businesses and restaurants nearby. The host is super nice and made quick responses. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

Best place in Rapid City

This home is wonderful. The hosts are responsive and have taken care of everything. The home has every detail covered. It is decorated well, spotless, and gives off warm vibes. The outside patio has a fire pit for enjoying the cool evenings. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Right Place in the Right Location

This property was absolutely perfect. The location was centrally located between the Western South Dakota and Eastern Wyoming “to do” attractions. The owners were excellent with communication and even providing recommendations for local events. I can not stress how clean and perfect the house was! Would definitely recommend!!

Perfect location for national park exploration

What a fantastic home! Everything you would need in a cozy home. This space was perfect for our family of three. It allowed us to be together or have our own retreat to relax. They decorating is wonderful, too. Thank you for having us. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting this area.

Hoefer House

House was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Host was very accommodating and had great communication before and after the stay. (We left a few items behind and Cindy promptly mailed them to us) Neighborhood was very quiet and property was close to downtown venues.

Just Wow!
