I'll give the previous reviewers a dubious benefit of the doubt and just assume that the condition of this rental has deteriorated with time, heavy use and neglect. However, I relied on those inaccurate reviews to make our month-long decision to stay there in March, 2018. I would never stay there again.
First, the good. The manager is helpful and responsive. The housekeeper also does an excellent job. The location is very good for an extended stay. It's noisy, but it's a noisy city.
Now, the rest. Except for the balcony chairs, the furniture is very uncomfortable. The sofa is deeply cracked, cheap leather and a real back-breaker. Those red chairs are about as comfortable as they look. The refrigerator often sounds like a muted jackhammer and the LR A/C was even worse. On arrival, we asked the manager to fix it. A technician arrived two days later, said it needed a replacement part and nothing further happened for the entire month of our stay. Fortunately, the weather cooled down and we only needed to run it when we were out of the apartment.
While the housekeeper's weekly cleaning keeps the basics covered, the drapes, rug and bed covers/linens are nothing short of gross. That floor lamp in the photos? Broken and not repaired or replaced during our month-long stay. The door on the washing machine hangs from one hinge. Getting the picture?
All this points to an owner (not the manager) who cares little for the upkeep of this apartment or the comfort of VRBO tenants. Take my word for it. You do not want to stay here.
