Wow! Awesome pictures- loving the snow-covered pines down the trail. So many happy memories from days and vacations like this! We look forward to welcoming you back for more wonderful memories. Thanks, Julie

Thank you for your review Marcos. Please come back again for some more skiing, or check us out in the Summer or Fall months. Outdoor adventure awaits!

Thanks Adam! You should also check us out during the Summer and/or Fall months. It is such a fun place with so many outdoor activities to do. It is also a calming retreat to just hang out in a rocking chair on the porch overlooking the mountain and listening to all of our birds! We look forward to your next stay with us.

Thanks Will! We are so glad that it was a great fit for you and your group. Please check us out other times of the year as pricing does go down during Spring, Summer and part of the Fall months. The Sunday River area has loads of outdoor adventures waiting for you all!

Thanks Robert! We sure hope that you will take your own words to heart, and come back this Summer or this Fall....because it is an outdoor paradise during these 2 seasons. We are looking forward to opening our doors to you and your family once again! Julie

Thank you, Molly, for the nice comments on our great mountain views, our location and the comfort of our home. You will be glad to hear that we took your advice and purchased a brand new, chemical safe, set of pots and pans, along with new silverware and a new silverware tray set, along with new kitchen utensils. We certainly took your comment to heart, and we decided to go a couple of extra steps, to upgrade our kitchen for our guests' use. We look forward to welcoming you back! Julie

Thanks Bryan! We hope that you will come back and stay with us during another time of our beautiful Maine seasons.

Thanks Karen! We are honored that you chose our home to spend your vacation, and try hard to make it the best experience for you! We look forward to welcoming you back for another stay. We are open all 4 seasons....

We are so glad to hear that you will be back to experience the same great views, great ambiance and enjoy your happy place here with us at Mountain House! Thanks

Thanks Kaitlin! We are thrilled that you had such a great stay with us. Ya'll come back now ya hear!

Thanks Camilla! We hope to see you during another one of our fantastic Maine seasons. Summer months are great for using our private river access swimming hole. Fall foliage is always a big hit for the illustrious tree colors blanketing the mountains surrounding our property! Look forward to your next visit. Julie

That's fabulous Raelynn, thank you! You were excellent renters and cared for our house very respectfully. We look forward to your return!

Thanks Manjiv! We are checking in to the wifi speed as we pay for a high speed fiber-optic! Not sure what was going on! Frank and I really enjoyed hanging around the fire and on the porch, getting to know you all, and that is a rarity as we usually don't fraternize with our guests like that! Hope that our paths cross again for a toast or two!

Sorry to hear this review from you Jeff. There was no fire in our house. As clearly stated by the FIRE Dept, it was smoke from a melted sump pump with the house cleared for your return before they departed. You forgot to mention that I offered you our Suite next door and you all accepted. This occurred back in January, and we have had several guests stay with us here since. They have all loved it and written to me to let me know how "awesone" the house is, just as you did! Your words exactly: "this house is exactly what we were looking for!" and even after the smoke incident you said the house was beautiful! You had no problem accepting zero refund from Vrbo, but I am supposed to refund you your entire stay? That doesn't sound fair...... We wish you all the best, and we do understand more than you think. We are proud of our property and we go to great lengths to keep it clean, comfortable and safe!
