Paradise Inn Placencia - Toucan Suite on the beach

As Canadians, we frequently look to escape our chilly winters and head to warmer , sunnier countries. Our friends mentioned Belize and we agreed to meet them in Placencia. This was 2015 and the little village captured our hearts. We got to know quite a few people and one of them mentioned a property for sale. We looked at the verdant lot, took in the view of the clear blue sea and decided this was where we wanted to be.
We purchased it right there and then, It took several years , and a COVID pandemic before our dream home was completed.

We live in a quiet neighbourhood with a plethora of neighbours who can provide us with everything from fresh coconut water to fishing and snorkeling adventures. Meander down Paradise Rd and do your banking, shopping and stop for a latte and the best chocolate chips cookies- all a few steps from our door.
