Our cute and cozy cabin is steps from the water of Back Creek.
Bring your boat and come out for a relaxing stay! Don't forget the poles. There's plenty of fish right out your front door.
The cabin itself has all the comforts of home. It is open spaced with a full kitchen, queen bed and two chairs that convert into single cots.
Our peaceful porch is perfect for a cookout, napping on our lounge for two with mosquito netting or just watching the fish jump.
The space
The picturesque and quiet town of Bath is North Carolina’s oldest town and port of entry. Bath is home to less than 300 folks and was the stomping grounds of Edward Teach, the infamous pirate Blackbeard.
Located on the Pamlico river, there is water everywhere.
Our property is peaceful and serene with a large and inviting porch. Our home sits on the back of the property while the cabin is steps from the water and dock.
Our cabin is designed for two or a small family. While we can sleep four, it is one open space with no bedroom for privacy. You can bring 4 adults, but the chairs that convert to cots aren’t great for older backs and we DO NOT recommend unless you want to tough it out. Children will sleep just fine.
We are in walking distance to all that Bath has to offer. There is a visitor’s center, two restaurants, a store, shops and several historic sites. We’ve even got an ABC store!
Goose Creek State Park is only 6 miles away. It has beautiful hiking trails and private sandy beaches.

We enjoyed our stay and the home was clean and in a great location. One suggestion that would make it even more comfortable would be adding ceiling fans inside and on the porch, especially for airflow and comfort. We also felt the porch seating could be upgraded to more comfortable chairs or a seating area to make spending time outside more enjoyable. Overall we had a nice stay.

This is a cute little romantic bungalow. Completely relaxing & sweet. Husband actually sat in a chair on the dock & fished one afternoon, Caught a little bait fish & had fun. Very comfortable for a couple of nights, I did lose power while taking a nice hot shower, turned cold & lights out, I’d put some baked potatoes in the oven while everything was running & blew a fuse at the main house, Owner said that never happened before. Not certain anyone has ever used the oven! Very pleasant owners!!

The property was charming. Very clean, lovely views of the water, loved the beachy decor. Perfect location, very tranquil. We had a great stay. Would stay there again with no question. Highly recommend it for a couple. Our dog loved it too!!

Beyond our expectations for a single room cabin. Had everything you could possibly ask for in terms of supplies. Very peaceful property and the creek view, along with the gentle breeze was very relaxing. The host was very customer friendly! We would most certainly recommend this property to our all our friends

We had the most relaxing time here. The weather was gorgeous and we even saw the pink moon over the water. It was so peaceful. Waking up to the view was amazing. The hosts were so nice. It was clean, cozy and comfy. Great coffee and tea bar with tons of options! There are restaurants close by and it's an easy drive into Washington. Our dog loved it here. We'll be back any time we're back in town.

Great spot for relaxation! Our host, Daryl, was friendly and accessible if we needed anything. Our dog loved both the manicured lawn AND watching the wildlife around the river. The living space was so cozy and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We ate several meals “at home” and using the nice patio grill. VERY comfortable bed! The outside patio has a roof and a sliding screen gate to contain your kiddo or pup. Depending on the season, bring mosquito repellent. The air conditioning unit was remote control and kept the space very cool! Due to the lower ceiling, the home doesn’t have a ceiling fan so we brought a box fan that helped circulate the air. This space was exactly like the photos, book it now!

Great Stay

This is a great location to visit with excellent accommodations. Carmen and Darryl were excellent hosts with whom you would like to share a glass of wine. Carman even facilitated our kayak adventure.

This was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. We wanted to unwind after the holidays. The cabin was so quaint, it had everything you could think of and more. Being on the water, sitting on the deck or porch was so relaxing. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. Will definitely be back.

The cabin was clean, cozy and had a very cute theme. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. We had everything we needed and appreciated the pet friendly touches. I’d definitely recommend booking to enjoy a coffee with a view. :)

Without a doubt, the most magical little cottage and its surroundings of the deck and long dock that leads to a solitude to sit, fish, star gaze that I've stayed at in a long, long time. Not only are the outside amenities peaceful, but the interior of this cottage is decorated with calming colors and perfectly placed designs. Oh, and this cottage has everything you could think of at your fingertips! I would see something and think, who would add this to a vacation rental! Plus, a vast variety of coffees and teas, only thing, no Keurig! I did bring my own. Very clean!The blessing of this cute cottage is the owners and Darry's mom, Julia. A 90-year-old bundle of spit and vinegar, lovely lady from the UK. Such a sweetheart!Bath, NC, I found, is not populated by tourist attractions and there are only 3 restaurants in this small quaint town, but it is a very historical town being the 1st port and 1st town in NC. The Outer Banks is only an hour drive. For me and my Chihuahua, Eza, (yes, they allow dogs), it was the perfect!

We are very outgoing, friendly and happy people. We have met the nicest folks and have made lifelong friends with our rentals. We enjoy every aspect of hosting and treat all of our guests like family.
We’re simple laidback folks with a quirk or two. Who isn’t quirky? We love to host and entertain and meet people from all walks of life. When can we meet you?

When we came to view the property a year later, we knew we found home.
