Tidy little base camp with easy check in and out. Perfect location for enjoying the area, and especially appreciated daily snow plowing to ensure we could get out and enjoy the Keweenaw powder!

Nice place, I had the one bedroom unit. Basic room, but clean and well maintained. Kitchen is basic but essentials are there. Quiet, somewhat secluded area, but very safe. Only 10 minutes from MTU, so very convenient.Host is very responsive.Great alternative for hotels, especially when they are full.Would definitely recommend.

Cozy and quiet vacation spot

Great little spot just outside of town. The property is clean and well stocked. We had a minor issue with a fuse being blown that was taken care of swiftly and without issue. The owner was communicative at every step of the way. Thanks again for having us!

MTU Move-in Stay

We stayed for 2 days while getting our freshman settled at MTU. The space was clean and inviting. It is a short drive from campus. We would stay again.

Close to Calumet

Nice place, very secluded, great for the dogs, very kind host. My room smelled of smoke, but I could open windows and spray Febreeze, the other rooms did not smell.

Close drive to MTU and Dog Friendly

This was our first trip bringing a dog to visit our MTU student. This was a nice affordable place. It is right next to the roadside park by the airport so plenty of room to walk the dog. The apartment had everything you need- a comfy bed,TV, well equipped kitchen. Host was responsive to messages. Apartment was 10 minutes to MTU and 10 minutes to Calumet- perfect location.we had fun playing the games and cards that were in the apartment

We’ll start with the positives. The property manager is very responsive and attentive. The unit is located in an area within easy walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. Having the hotel and Starbucks next door is great. The areas of improvement - be sure to read through all of the directions before parking. You need to park in front of the building FIRST and run in and get the pass out of the apartment before you can get into the parking garage. Otherwise, you will be charged. The building itself has seen better days. The elevators and hallway carpets are dinghy. The unit is clean, but dated. The carpet is worn, the headboard is plastic and coming loose from the wall. The kitchen has only basics, so don’t expect to do much cooking. The towels are gross and need to be replaced - they reek of mildew.
