Our family of 4 stayed here in March. The pictures are accurate. This property is very clean, comfortable, and has so much space! Each of the 3 large bedrooms has an en suite bathroom (with separate toilet area) and also a half bath off the living room. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was especially convenient that there were some things left from previous guests (spices, foil, baggies, sugar, paper products, etc) that really gave it a touch of "home" and made our lives easier. The condo is located on the far (near the street) side of the Chateaux building that is adjacent to the ski school area at the base of Silverthorne lift. It is a very short walk to get to the lift (maybe 100 yards) and even shorter home, if you ski to the closest snow. The condo can be accessed inside the building or via a door with direct outside access...a huge convenience when you have skis and boots to deal with. The parking is directly under the building and we always found a space (although the spaces are a bit tight if you have an SUV). The only downside is that there are not real views from the windows, although the living room overlooks some nice woods, and there is a very large construction project going on across the driveway, very close to the windows for the 2 non-master bedrooms and master bathroom. While this is completely outside the owners control, it did mean that those window blinds needed to stay closed and there was some noise starting around 7:30am. That said, it didn't really impact our stay and the convenience of the location more than made up for it. Overall, a great property with excellent communication with owners and local liaison. Check in and check out were extremely easy and smooth. If you need to rent skis/boots, we highly recommend Blue River Sports just down the street. They are locally owned, had excellent prices, and the staff is very knowledgeable, and the service was very quick.
