Experience a fantastic and unforgettable coastal escapade when you book this 14th-floor beach-view condo! This resort condo enjoys a prime location steps from the beach and two and a half miles from the heart of South Padre Island. Located on the southern tip of Texas, South Padre Island offers a variety of activities for visitors, including outdoor activities (sunbathing, swimming, jet skiing, parasailing, kiteboarding, windsurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, banana boat rides, fishing, and dolphin-watching tours), South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center (birdwatching), Sea Turtle, Inc., Isla Blanca Park and Andy Bowie Park (hiking and biking), South Padre Island Golf Club, Long Island Village Golf Course, and South Padre Island Kite Festival.

When you book this coastal charmer, you are also granted access to fantastic on-site amenities, including a sparkling outdoor pool, easy beach access, poolside loungers, hot tubs, a game room (foosball table, pool table, pinball machines, and shuffleboard), theatre room, tennis court, and a fitness center.

This beach-view beauty enjoys a beautifully appointed open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one. The living/dining area boasts inviting sofas and a dining table facing a smart TV with streaming and cable services to keep you entertained during your stay. Discover a well-appointed kitchen with all the essentials to prepare exquisite homemade meals and snacks on the go. This area opens onto a furnished balcony with impressive views of the beach and ocean where you can lounge with a favorite beverage in hand and plan your next adventures. There is a second balcony located on the opposite side featuring a grill and seating.

Sleeping arrangements include a main bedroom with a smart TV and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a separate jetted tub, and a walk-in closet.

Things to Know
Upon arrival, Guests who made the reservation must present a valid ID at the front desk. They must be accompanied by only members of their immediate family. For purposes of renting during these times, “family” is defined to include only members within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity (e.g., parents, grandparents (including in-laws), and children). (Cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, or nieces are NOT considered immediate family.) No two families can share one condo. The front desk will NOT allow check-in if the renters do not meet these requirements.
GUESTS: No guests are permitted to Renters. Primary guests must be at least 25 years old year-round. Wristbands are required to be worn at all times. A resort Fee of $15/day will be charged to renters, fees are capped at $150 per 30-day period.

RULES for Spring Break and Holy Week: OCCUPANCY: The Primary Renter must be 30 years of age or older, as verified by a government-issued ID, and accompanied by only members of their immediate family. * Absolutely NO invited guests will be allowed.
Once keys have been issued, you will NOT be able to switch, remove, and/or add any names from the sign-in sheet.

**** Please note, Texas weather brings pesky insects, and while we strive to ensure your stay is as pleasurable as possible, we are not able to control the elements that attract insects to the outdoor/indoor areas. All properties do utilize pest control maintenance regularly, BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.
** The host does not always guarantee stable wifi services during your stay. This may also affect television streaming services.

NO PARTY POLICY: This home maintains a strict no-party and no-spring break policy. Our local South Padre Island team monitors compliance with our rental policies and responds promptly to any complaints from neighbors. If any guests are found to violate these rental policies, it will result in eviction without a refund. If you have any questions or concerns about your compliance, please get in touch with us right away so we can ensure you have a safe and happy vacation.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Will book again

The condo was so spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed as well as the bathrooms. There level of comfort here was so peaceful. I will absolutely book this unit again. Check in was fast and easy.

Wedding trip

The condo was beautiful and clean. The reason I did not score a 5 star is because some of the basic pantry items were not supplied. No seasoning, sugar, tissues, paper towels, napkins or a spatula. There is also a rule that you can not have more than 8 guest we had 5 adults staying there but since it was an out of town wedding we had grandchildren that wanted to visit. The grandchildren were adults and we were not going to use the facilities just wanted to be together and talk. This was not allowed once the first 3 grandchildren came and left no one else could come up. I must of missed that in the contract since I have used VRBO in the past and as long as the guest didn’t sleep over they can visit. Just be aware.

Everything we needed!

What a great condo! This unit was very well appointed and perfect for our family of 6. The furnishings were just right so everyone had space where we could be together or have our own quiet time. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to get meals and snacks together at all times. We love South Padre and The Sapphire; this condo was what we perfectly what we needed for our vacation.

Great budget option for Sapphire

We’ve stayed at Sapphire many times, each time in a different unit. This unit had a great price point and great use of bedroom space to accommodate our family members comfortably. Unit has a very “property management company” feel as far as vacation rentals go: tacky decor, furniture that’s functional but not user friendly or appealing, lack of attention to detail and basic maintenance items needing attention.

Great location & property

The location was just perfect, short walk to get to the beach. Condo was very clean and spacious. In the home, had basic necessities and included minimal extra supplies. If going with a larger group or for a longer time, would recommend bringing extra garbage bags, paper towels, and cleaning supplies/laundry soap. Upon arrival, there wasn't a broom or vacuum, so did have to purchase one to keep the floors clean. The property itself was very clean and onsite staff was very polite and helpful. The pool was clean and spacious. The hot tub was closed for a good portion of the time we were there, but it was so hot out it didn't matter for us. Game room was also nice. We did encounter an issue with the power being out for a few hours, but was resolved fairly quickly by the team. Our family loved the trip and would definitely recommend staying here.
