Fresh, filtered tap water is available via a dedicated faucet at the kitchen sink, as well as through the refrigerator tap water and icemaking system. Steam crabs caught right off the dock, and enjoy dinner with a view in the dining area with seating for 8. Step out onto the deck overlooking the backyard to take in the views or watch your 4-legged friend run around and enjoy their Outer Banks vacation, too!

Guests at Sound Jewel are sure to enjoy all of the amenities the family-friendly, gated community of Colington Harbour offers just 2.5 miles away, including a soundside park with sandy beaches, a playground, a sheltered picnic area, an Olympic-sized community pool and kiddie pool, community tennis, and basketball courts. Colington Harbour also offers boat ramp access, so you can cruise the canals or hit the sound for a fun-filled day on the water!

As Colington Island is in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, you’ll have easy access to a wide array of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping opportunities, as well as numerous attractions and guest destinations, like the Wright Brothers Memorial. Just a short 10-15 minute drive down Colington Road is the Ocean Bay Blvd. public beach access, the main location for Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue, offering handicapped beach access, public parking, and restrooms.

Sheets and towels are not provided but can be added to any reservation for a fee.

Sound Jewel is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.
