Located in the Historic Highland Square Neighborhood, this century old apartment building with loads of old charm and contemporary comfort is minutes away from downtown, local eateries, the Metro Parks, and just walking distance away from the Highland Square strip. We welcome you to stay in our 2 bedroom apartment that features a large living room, formal dining room, kitchen, bathroom, master bedroom and an additional bedroom/office that opens up to a quaint patio. Come relax and enjoy! We've been hosting on other sites for years!

Quiet and comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very nice - plenty of space for 3 adults.

Upon arriving and going into the apartment building for my stay I was greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke at the main entry. I figured maybe it was just the main entryway so I continued upstairs to see if the apartment smelled better. After entering the apartment I was greeted by an even pungent smell of cigarette smoke. I was to have my toddler daughter with me for the weekend in the apartment, so this was unacceptable to me. After briefly leaving my bags up in the apartment and going back down to my vehicle to consider my options. I messaged the host informing them of the situation. Due to being in the midst of a custody situation as well for my daughter and just my shear unwillingness to spend a weekend in an apartment that tainted by the smell of cigarette smokes I booked an alternative place to stay. Retrieved my bags and left. When communicating with the host about the situation. They informed me that they wouldn't be refunding my money because someone else could have booked the location. I asked for at least half back since they didn't have to clean the apartment from my stay, and I would have found that agreeable. They refused and retained my money despite the apartment not being as advertised that being "non-smoking".One last thing I will say is that in a less than ideal neighborhood the keypad code for the main door the buttons for the code are so worn it would take very little time to find the correct code to enter/break into the building.

Easy place to stay when visiting Cuyahoga Valley Park

Lovely historic building, additional safety - motion lights in parking lot were helpful. Hosts were responsive and easy to work with. Amazing restaurant and friendly church nearby.

Historical apartment stay

The apartment was just as it showed in the pictures… very spacious and nicely decorated. Had all amenities available to us. Very nice stay! Thank you!
