Great Condo

We were very happy with the condo!! It was perfect for our family….We all had our personal spaces, but could be together for a meal, or to watch a game or a movie in the living room, dining area…. The location is close to restaurants, shopping and recreation…The beach and pool areas were great!! Our host was very responsive to our needs and a pleasure to deal with!!!

Great condo on the beach!

Having to flee Hurricane Ian from Siesta Key, we drove to MB. This condo is perfect for families or get aways with friends. Clean, close to everything, and quiet. Also, durable as we had front row seats to Ian! The owner is super nice and friendly!

Spring break 2024

Property was exactly what the pictures looked like. Host answer all needs we have very fast and got the things taken care of, which awesome to have an amazing host. Location was awesome for us to be able to have a beach day or go to area businesses. Definitely will be looking to stay here again if available when we come back to Myrtle Beach.

Review

The refrigerator wasnt cold , they did replace it. The AC was average and my son in law repaired it. The balcony is disgusting The floors were filthy. I did message the management company and request some reimbursement. I am not going to brutalize this place on social media, but its not what is advertised.

Overall Nice Stay

Listing was as described and parking was definitely nice being on the same floor. A few things need to be fixed around the place. More seating would be nice, the single couch isn't enough for a family of 4 adults. We did see one cockroach in the place while there. We would stay there again.

My stay

I love the space. It was nice the only 2 issue I had was the the pillows didn't have pillow cases on them. I felt like the bedding could have look a little more cleaner. We did have issues with the shower but the maintenance man came right over and fix it immediately. I would stay here again.

Good Get-A-Way

Only issue was in one bedroom the lights did not work and there was no dishwashing detergent stocked in the kitchen. The closet in the main bedroom had some trash when I first checked in, but it appeared that the cleaning crew put it there and forgot to grab it when they emptied the trash.

Lovely Condo, central location

The condo itself is lovely, well furnished and has beautiful ocean front views. It definitely punches above the weight of the building it is located in which is run down and a little dirty - there was pizza on the ledge outside one of our bedroom windows. It is on the second floor and right above the pool. There were a lot of loud people in the pool late at night when we were trying to sleep.

We're sorry the Camelot was not up to your expectations. It is a busy place - especially during the peak of summer in Myrtle Beach. There is a balance of being so close to all the beach fun and still paying a reasonable rate for a large Oceanfront unit vs. staying at a higher end chain hotel. Our family lived here and did see some of this activity. However, we found that the Camelot staff quickly addressed most issues before we even contacted them. The pool closes at 10pm and is locked and enforced . If there is anyone at the pool after that, site management should address. The only bedroom close to the pool is the master. So, we wanted to clarify for others that this would not affect the entire unit. We're glad you still liked our unit. Best wishes on your next vacation.

Nice location

It was nice but needed a few upgrades. The handle loose on balcony door. Mirror in bedroom came off door but didn’t break. And the sofa bed had a broken bar on it so couldn’t use it. But other than that was nice.

Not enough seating. Sofa was wore out and uncomfortable. Crack in air conditioning line.... floor was constantly wet had to keep wiping up the water.... But location and view was excellent.

Pamela, We do apologize for the AC issue you had to deal with. In the middle of the summer rush, we had to have a new unit quickly installed. The NEW AC works great, but as you experienced, there was some minor leaking. Due to reservations we did not want to cancel, we did not have a chance to fully fix that small leak. However, we found that a bucket placed under the unit prevents any further leaks to the floor. We plan to have this fixed after our busy reservations are completed in early 2024. However, this should not impact the fall visitors as the small leak is now controlled and AC usage is minimal. We apologize that you were our first guest affected by this. We wish you the best on your next vacation.

Had a good stay!

Needs just a few little things to be fixed or done. Needs a mixing bowl and some decent knives, present ones are duller than dull. Lock on patio door Needs worked on. Just a few spots on walls and doors needs cleaning up and painting. The lights from the pool area does keep the masterbedroom from being as dark as I like it. Nothing that would stop me from coming back!! Great price for sure! Thanks for everything! I know these are little things but you wouldn't know about them unless someone tells you.

Kim, Thanks for staying with us for a month and for your comments. We're glad you had only a few recommendations. We will definitely take care of those. Regarding the lights. There is a black out curtain in the master bedroom. We have stayed many times in this room. We found that as long as the curtain is closed all the way, that it fully blocks out all the light. We will take a look at that to ensure it is still closing. We also hope you enjoyed the brand new LaZBoy Sleeper sofa we put in the unit for your stay! We have now also added two new chairs for the living room. Thanks again!

Yikes. Because there's a character limit I'll be much more concise than I planned. Housekeeping was still in the unit until 4:45p and things went sideways from there. Customer service was horrendous in the first few hours being there. Only have emergencies during workdays otherwise you risk talking with Susan who will be annoyed that THEIR locks didn't work. We figured it out no thanks to her. Overall, the unit is jacked. Dirty floors, water damage, broken thresholds and dented/wavy flooring(bad backs beware). This place was either a rushed flip or a quick repair to water damage and then rushed back into service. Simple conveniences don't exist. The only hooks to hang towels on was on the back of the master bathroom with painted hairs visible in the door(pic below), the flooring grout was black and not supposed to be. Roaches came to hangout, none of the remotes had adequate or functioning batteries. The washer doesn't function without hitting start several times per load. The deck was a vacation ruiner. Im 6' tall and the obstructed view ruined the point of being a beachfront prop. Will NEVER rent from Blue Palmetto again. They may be nice folks with other nice properties, but this was not our experience. We'll be avoiding Myrtle for a few to get the taste out of our mouths.

Beach Stay

The checking and parking was simple and easy. Location is great. They had beach chairs and umbrella which was a wonderful surprise. Small downfall is seating area in living area. Only 3 seater sofa, it is in pics, so wasn’t a surprise. Would definitely go back!

Great location!

We stayed in a second floor corner unit. 3/2 and extra windows. The kitchen could have been cleaner but not a deal-breaker. AC wasn’t working properly but was repaired in a reasonable length of time. Cars in garage not too loud from this unit. The view is just like the photo—awesome. Plenty of towels, coffee filters; starter tp, soap and other toiletries. Bring any small kitchen appliances—there’s only a toaster and coffee maker. Also, there are no kitchen cloths/towels. We had a good trip!

Great location

I stayed with my family with six kids age 1-17) for one week. What I loved about this apartment: perfect location, safe balcony for my 19months climber it was just enough to see, but not to climb! Carpet-free floor!!! (I have a couple kids with dust allergies), plenty of towels, kitchen fully equipped, always hot water with strong pressure- I love the big head shower! 2nd floor and corner apartment close to elevator was very convenient. I would be better if there is more couches, one is not enough for 8, but other than this - everything was perfect.

March trip

We booked a week long semi of season trip for our family of five plus one. First things first, when they say the parking ramp is meant for small vehicles they're not lying. We made it work with our mini van but i wouldn't want to bring anything bigger. Next up, something I've never seen before but it was actually pretty nice in is own way, the doors for the rooms are right in the parking garage. However, it was pretty noisy in the front bedrooms the first couple nights. There was a car show and the parade of trucks revving their engines until 2am echoed through the garage and blasted the whole front of the room. After they left it was fine. The room was nice. It was very clean when we got there. Washer and dryer in the room ended up being a bigger plus than we originally expected. As with all hotels for commoners there were a couple things that were a little dated, but nothing you wouldn't expect from the pictures, and nothing that was bad. There are dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. The only real downside we had with the room was that the hot water had issues the last day and a half we were there. But the hotel was working on water line maintenance on other floors, and i suspect that was the cause. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of stuff, and just a couple minutes drive away from so much more.. The view was awesome. Right at the beach. Pretty sure we saw a shark one morning. Saw dolphins the first day. Kids loved the pools. The indoor heated pools were very comfortable. The outdoor ones were a little chilly, but it's March.... All in all this was one probably the best family vacation we've taken. Yeah the area attractions help with that, but the spacious room with all of the at home features that you don't get with normal hotels definitely made everything that much better.

It’s not a hotel it’s a three bedroom apartment with an ocean view. And it was great for a few days. Nice lazy River and well heated indoor pool. Right near the boardwalk. Easy getaway.

Excellent views and access to the beach

This was a good rental for four senior friends. I would only recommend adding another chair or two for seating in the living room. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Very nice location

The place was nice and clean, but the master bed was a little uncomfortable and squeaky when moving around or getting in/out of bed.

Ana, thank you for your feedback. We just opened this unit for rental this year and are still gathering feedback on what would make a guest's stay even better. We are looking into getting a replacement mattress for the master room. We would love for you to come stay with us again.

The condo was amazing. Will definitely recommend this location

Amazing views, clean, perfect location close to the boardwalk. I would recommend this location for future stays.

This unit is located at the Camelot resort. However, it is managed by Blue Palmetto Vacation Rentals.

We are located only a few blocks away and are able to personally address most Camelot unit concerns.
