Conveniently located just steps from Main Street, this home provides easy access to all that downtown Chatham has to offer, eliminating the need for constant car travel. Within a mile radius, both Lighthouse Beach and Oyster Pond Beach offer enjoyable recreational opportunities.
The residence consists of a traditional five-bedroom home designed in the classic Cape style, complete with authentic touches throughout, including antique furniture, a spacious porch with Adirondack chairs, side porch, an eat-in kitchen, lush grounds, and a private driveway. Smart amenities like WiFi, cable TVs, and a gas grill are also available. With easy access to Mill Pond, guests can enjoy activities such as kayaking (with rental delivery available), fishing, and convenient ferry service to Nantucket Island merely half a mile away.
Ideal for a family getaway or entertaining visiting friends and extended family, the main floor features a mix of formal and casual living areas, including a generously-sized patio with ample seating, and a barbecue area set amidst meticulously manicured lawns gently sloping towards the water's edge. During peak season, a seven-night minimum stay is required. Additional charges apply, including a $500 reservation fee + $720 cleaning and linen fee. Moreover, state, and local taxes at a rate of 14.45% are applicable to all reservations under 31 days.
Cancellation Policy:
If the Commonwealth of Massachusetts bans short-term rentals, you would receive a full refund. Otherwise, our standard cancellation policy is in effect:
In the event of cancellation for any reason, please contact us immediately followed by in writing. Written notice of cancellation must be accompanied by payment of a $500 cancellation fee to Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, which may be charged to a credit card. Upon Notice of Cancellation, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty will endeavor to find a substitute tenant. In the event a substitute tenant is found, monies paid in advance will be refunded, less a 20% service fee of the total rental amount due. You herein acknowledge that you will only be entitled to a rebate only if you give written notice, pay the cancellation fee and the property is re-rented for the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement. For your protection, Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty recommends the purchase of Optional Travel Insurance provided by CSA. In the event the property does not rent for the same terms, all Guest payments for the entire agreement amount are due and forfeited to the owner.
