The Miller House offers you a relaxing getaway stay with a well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom and bedrooms complete with good size closets, luggage racks and comfy beds with organic cotton sheets for a dreamy night's sleep. Our 3 bedroom cottage is newly renovated with on demand hot water heater and central air. Perfect for business stays, family visits, girls getaway and charming town adventures! Within walking distance are a variety of restaurants, antique stores, historical attractions, parks, arts center and convenient shopping experiences including the Rear Range Lighthouse! We're just 15 minutes from the NYS Thruway, Hancock International Airport, the Lakeview Ampitheater and downtown Syracuse. Enjoy an evening around the gas firepit table in your fenced in pet friendly spacious backyard. We are centrally nestled between several wedding/special event venues. Just a few blocks away the state docks offer free docking for travelers of the Oneida River portion of the Erie Canal/Great Loop/Triangle Loop. Oneida Shores is just a five minute drive away and Taft Bay park/beach is just under 20 minutes away with a gorgeous drive along the north shore of Oneida Lake. Welcome to The Miller House where there are no check out rules.

Accomodations and toiletries were great. Fenced in yard was the selling point for our puppers. Only recommendation is to add small televisions in the rooms upstairs. Other than that, everything was great!!

Another great stay at the property. Jennifer makes the place so comfortable. Very clean and the backyard being fenced in is an added bonus for our two pups. Very dog friendly and location is great ro get around the greater syracuse area. Thank you for the hospitality

The rooms upstairs are connected by 1 middle staircase. Rooms are in the attic & finished without means of egress except through the middle staircase or jump out of window. No disposal in sink, cast iron plumbing, on a crawlspace. House next door is a remodel fail disaster still not completed. The houses around made me a bit worried & it made me make sure i locked the doors. The back yard is fenced. No ice maker, no water filtratation system. Washer is top loader. Did supply laundry supplies. Did supply bathroom amenities. 1 bathroom only downstairs. Not set up for multiple people with 1 bathroom. In monatary value evaluation. This opinion is, It wasnt worth the money charged for the money spent on the facelift remodel. There was a grill, a stove, utensils, dishes. The rate for what is provided is not equal to its value. If the rate was less per day, the review would be all 5 stars.

The Miller House

Absolutely perfect! This three bed, one bath home was exactly what we were looking for while visiting the area for our son's graduation from Syracuse University. It was clean, safe, well furnished and had every amenity needed for our trip. I should add it was also a 2 minute walk to the lake. In addition, the owner was easy going, communicated well with us and even left snacks and a note for us. My son is staying in the area to pursue his PhD and we will certainly stay at the Miller House again.

Great location!

We enjoyed our quick getaway to the Syracuse area. This was a sweet little bungalow with a nice yard in a quiet neighborhood. We drove into Syracuse to visit the zoo and MOST but also e joyed shopping in the nearby towns. Thank you for hosting us and for the thoughtful extra touches!

Great place to stay with our dog

We needed a place in the area for a few days and chose this rental because it allowed us to bring our doodle dog. The house is lovely, comfortable with well-organized kitchen and a pet-friendly enclosed back yard. Highly recommend.

Amazing House and Host

The Miller House met all our expectations and more. Jennifer the host was amazing, she was quick to respond to all my questions and gave great food recommendations in the area. The house was clean and beautifully updated. The fenced in backyard was a big bonus and our dog loved running around. The coffee/wine bar was a nice touch with everything you needed. Would highly recommend this house if you are traveling to the area.

Lovely spot to for family and dog!

Home was comfortable and clean. Had lots of kitchen tools and lovely bath accessories. Cozy beds and outdoor space with fire pit was great. It was a little tight with 4 people using the one bathroom, but we made it work out fine. Enjoyed walking down to the river too. Thanks!

Beautiful home - Excellent experience!

Jennifer is the most wonderful and attentive host! We stayed for the weekend while visiting my son at Syracuse. She not only messaged me with great information about her home, she gave me recommendations for things to do and places to see while in the area - apple picking, restaurants etc. The home was comfortable and perfect for us. We loved taking walks along the gorgeous lake, and playing the games that Jennifer left for guests to use. 5 star treatment and accomodations!

As advertised - clean home which was conveniently located

Jennifer was a great host and her home was perfect for our party of 5 (4 adults and 1 toddler). She was very responsive and flexible with our check-in time. Her home was clean, comfortable and located perfectly between the people we were visiting. We’d recommend Jennifer’s house to others visiting the area!

Great Location and rental

Overall my wife and I were extremely happy with the rental. Jennifer was always available for any questions and provided a lot of great information and support. The house was exactly what we needed and reduced a lot of worry and stress having our two dogs with us. The neighborhood is a quiet area. you will be in walking distance of restaurants, all different kinds of stores, salons, an arts center that offers yoga and other classes and even the Rear Range Brewerton Lighthouse!! Brewerton is a wonderful place to play and stay.

All aspects of the inside of The Miller House were thoughtfully created with a boho beachy vibe so you can feel an aire of calmness. The house was completely remodel by my husband and I. And you'll find several upcycled furnishings that truly are one of a kind.
