The Miller House offers you a relaxing getaway stay with a well stocked kitchen, huge bathroom and bedrooms complete with good size closets, luggage racks and comfy beds with organic cotton sheets for a dreamy night's sleep. Our 3 bedroom house is newly renovated with on demand hot water heater and central air. Perfect for business stays, family visits, girls getaway and charming town adventures! Within walking distance are a variety of restaurants, antique stores, historical attractions, parks, arts center and convenient shopping experiences including the Rear Range Lighthouse! We're just 15 minutes from the NYS Thruway, Hancock International Airport, the Lakeview Ampitheater and downtown Syracuse. Enjoy an evening around the gas firepit table in the fenced in pet friendly backyard. We are centrally nestled between several wedding/special event venues. Just a few blocks away the state docks offer free docking for travelers of the Oneida River portion of the Erie Canal/Great Loop/Triangle Loop. Oneida Shores is just a five minute drive away and Taft Bay park/beach is just under 20 minutes away with a gorgeous drive along the north shore of Oneida Lake. Welcome to The Miller House where there are no check out rules.

Great location!

We enjoyed our quick getaway to the Syracuse area. This was a sweet little bungalow with a nice yard in a quiet neighborhood. We drove into Syracuse to visit the zoo and MOST but also e joyed shopping in the nearby towns. Thank you for hosting us and for the thoughtful extra touches!

The Miller House

Absolutely perfect! This three bed, one bath home was exactly what we were looking for while visiting the area for our son's graduation from Syracuse University. It was clean, safe, well furnished and had every amenity needed for our trip. I should add it was also a 2 minute walk to the lake. In addition, the owner was easy going, communicated well with us and even left snacks and a note for us. My son is staying in the area to pursue his PhD and we will certainly stay at the Miller House again.

Cozy Place

Very convenient location and the house is well decorated. I can imagine this being a wonderful place in the summer. I was there in the winter and the setting was great. Great host and everything was super easy.

As advertised - clean home which was conveniently located

Jennifer was a great host and her home was perfect for our party of 5 (4 adults and 1 toddler). She was very responsive and flexible with our check-in time. Her home was clean, comfortable and located perfectly between the people we were visiting. We’d recommend Jennifer’s house to others visiting the area!

Lovely spot to for family and dog!

Home was comfortable and clean. Had lots of kitchen tools and lovely bath accessories. Cozy beds and outdoor space with fire pit was great. It was a little tight with 4 people using the one bathroom, but we made it work out fine. Enjoyed walking down to the river too. Thanks!

We chose this home because of its location and close to where our son is. Great place close to the lake, restaurants, and central square. Was a prefect place to rest and visit family, and easy walking to where we wanted to go. Rented a boat at Brewerton boat yard and enjoyed the lake and the surroundings. Great stay, thanks!

Comfortable, cute place

Very clean, cute house. Great location to lake, fiver, restaurants and things to do. Low doorways in bedrooms upstairs! Close proximity to Brewerton Raceway. Can be loud on Friday nighrs during race season. Had a great stay. Gracious host!

Beautiful home - Excellent experience!

Jennifer is the most wonderful and attentive host! We stayed for the weekend while visiting my son at Syracuse. She not only messaged me with great information about her home, she gave me recommendations for things to do and places to see while in the area - apple picking, restaurants etc. The home was comfortable and perfect for us. We loved taking walks along the gorgeous lake, and playing the games that Jennifer left for guests to use. 5 star treatment and accomodations!

Great Location and rental

Overall my wife and I were extremely happy with the rental. Jennifer was always available for any questions and provided a lot of great information and support. The house was exactly what we needed and reduced a lot of worry and stress having our two dogs with us. Having a fenced in backyard and quiet road by the lake to walk them really allowed us to relax and give them great space. ans

Team Dykeman Golf Tournament

From the beginning, Jennifer was super communicative and helpful - always available and quick to respond. We were thrilled to be able to have our pups with us - we were in town for the Team Dykeman Golf Tournament on the tail end of a week up at Camp and had our 2 dogs with us. The fenced yard was perfect for play time to wear them out before we headed out for the tournament....and the house was spotless and odor-free, which is not always the case with a pet-friendly home. Everything was well appointed - we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We even took the dogs for a walk along the water, which is just a few houses down - such a beautiful area and an overall wonderful place to stay! Thanks for the awesome hospitality!

Cozy Syracuse Treasure Highly Recommend

We stayed at this 3-bedroom house to be able to visit family and Syracuse Nationals. Jennifer is a fantastic host who responded to all our inquires right away, made suggestions and made us feel welcome. The house is as described and the pictures show accurately. There is well-stocked kitchen and bath. Nicely decorarated and she has done a lot to make people feel at home and welcome. Greatly appreciate this Host allowing pets and the house is set up nicely for pets with nice flooring and a sturdy fenced in backyard. When you walk out the front door/look to the left, you can see the riverfront. We took a walk down and the people are very friendly. My only complaint, is that I wish we had booked more days to enjoy all the scenery and nature parks. Would highly recommend this place and this HOST!

Nice little cottage on Lake Oneida

Last minute booking for a get away to upstate New York to escape the heat in Maryland. Booking was painless. We were looking for a pet friendly place and this was perfect as it included a fenced in backyard. The unit was clean and well supplied. Central air on main floor and small window A/C units upstairs. Located near Brewerton NY on the north-western tip of Lake Oneida. You don’t have direct access to the lake but you can see the lake and walk along a road within feet of it. Short walk to local restaurant/bars in the neighborhood. Short 20 minute drive into Syracuse. We would love to visit the area again and will keep this place in mind for next time. I wish there was another bathroom. My wife and I managed ok but there were two other bedrooms and I can’t imagine sharing with anyone else with only one bath.

Great place to stay with our dog

We needed a place in the area for a few days and chose this rental because it allowed us to bring our doodle dog. The house is lovely, comfortable with well-organized kitchen and a pet-friendly enclosed back yard. Highly recommend.

Amazing House and Host

The Miller House met all our expectations and more. Jennifer the host was amazing, she was quick to respond to all my questions and gave great food recommendations in the area. The house was clean and beautifully updated. The fenced in backyard was a big bonus and our dog loved running around. The coffee/wine bar was a nice touch with everything you needed. Would highly recommend this house if you are traveling to the area.

Lovely Stay

We had a great time at this property. Jenn is a very thoughtful host and worked with us when the dates of our trip changed. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into the property and has so many comfort items. She communicated frequently and any question/concerns were handled immediately. She lives close by so she’s able to help whenever needed. Would definitely recommend!

This lake house on Oneida is alrita!

I made last minute plans to visit my son, that lives in the Syracuse area, to see the eclipse. VRBO listings were non-existent, but I came across a new listing that seemed nice in the photos, so I thought I would take a chance. The host was very responsive and I was not disappointed when I arrived. The Miller house sleeps a family of four comfortably, and has been almost completely renovated from the inside out. It is nicely decorated with laminate floors and new carpeting, a large bathroom with a new double sink vanity and a stand-up shower in the bathroom, with mostly all the bathroom amenities you may need. Though the two smaller bedrooms are separated by a curtain door, due to having a window in the middle of the wall, it provided adequate privacy and the beds were comfortable. The large master bedroom has a new king size bed that is also very comfortable with great bedding. you will quickly feel at home as you discover the attention to details of the host. Located less than a block from the shore of Lake Oneida, and less than a mile from Rt 11, this rental is in the heart of Brewerton. Given that is is early in the season, restaurants had not yet started their outdoor seating, but I found plenty to do at the many parks that are located in the area. If you enjoy the outdoors and fishing, you will love the area.

All aspects of the inside of The Miller House were thoughtfully created with a boho beachy vibe so you can feel an aire of calmness. The house was completely remodel by my husband and I. And you'll find several upcycled furnishings that truly are one of a kind.
