Great location and amazing views! We had plenty of space for 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant! Plenty of space to spread out amongst families.

We had a wonderful time at Glen Lake. It is a beautiful property. While we were there, it was quite warm so appreciated the cool basement and the ac in the bedrooms. Lots to do around Glen Lake and we hiked, boated, kayaked, shopped, ate ice cream and went to the cherry festival.

Enjoyed the large space we had to share with 4 couples. Great location for access to Traverse City, the Dunes, hiking , biking and outdoor activities. Enjoyed meals in Lealand, TC and locally. We rented a pontoon at the local marina only a mile or so away. Kitchen very well equipped to prepare meals for a crowd.

Lake view was serene, accommodated our entire family which was 11 & even had an extra room for more. The house is so big & spacious we were very comfortable. Our family loved ping-pong! This house is perfect to explore Empire, sleeping bear & many other trails, Glen Arbor has beautiful pickleball courts! If interested

Family Getaway

The property was perfect for a family vacation. We had people from ages 4 to 81 and could not have asked for a better place to stay as it accommodated everyone comfortably. The two children especially enjoyed the beach.

Leelanau vacation

We love this house! The 10 of us have stayed here 4 times in the last few years. It’s a great base for activities all over the peninsula as well as in Traverse City. It’s a very welcoming home and very well maintained and communications with the host are timely and cordial.

Fantastic house on Little Glen Lake

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is very large and can accommodate several families comfortably as we had 4 different families with us. The location is fantastic and the backyard is perfect for little ones to play and get in the water. Hope to stay there again soon. Thanks!

Awesome place!

We've stayed in this house 3 or 4 times with our family. It is beautiful, love the little beach area and the fire pit. It has everything you could need. We will definitely continue to rent this awesome place! Love the ping pong and foosball tables in the basement. Owner is always very helpful and responsive. Awesome vacation!

Our week was so nice! It was cool in the beginning of our week but when the heat set in the house warmed up with no air as windows did not open. The kitchen is wonderful with room for every one.

The only bad thing is that we were too late trying to book next year!!!

Literally. Unbelievable week with my family here. Six adults, two toddlers and one infant. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It had a huge, open airy layout with an unbelievable living room complete with cathedral height ceilings that had windows overlooking the turquoise lake. The backyard was bi-level and the beach felt private and secluded. The property owner was communicative, friendly and responsive. We’re already trying to plan for 2026.

Lovely Lake House!

Our multigenerational family of ten enjoyed this lovely and spacious lake house for the second year in a row! The stunning two-story great room was perfect for gathering and movie night. There are also many places on the three floors to spread out if some quiet solitude is desired. The kitchen was very well-stocked - - a great cook's kitchen with two dishwashers! The deck, a favorite spot, was a perfect place to read a book, chat, and enjoy a glass of wine while viewing a stunning sunset! The location is excellent as it is close to both Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and biking, as well as exploring the area restaurants and wineries. Our four grandchildren (three seven-year-olds and one five-year-old) enjoyed playing in the sandy beach area and in the shallow water with their floats. I highly recommend this property! We are already booked for next year!.

Great house for a large group!

Great house for a large group (we had 12) - lots of space so we weren’t tripping over each other. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the games downstairs. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and the fact that it has 2 dishwashers was a life-saver. The extra fridge in the garage was perfect for keeping all of our drinks cold which left plenty of space in the kitchen fridge for food. Beautiful spot on the lake with plenty of seating on the deck and a nice sandy beach for the kids to play. Our only complaint was the barbecue: it was a skillet, not a grill, and it was filthy dirty so we had to clean it before cooking. I also suggest telling people to bring matches or a lighter if they’re going to have a fire in the fire pit. We’d definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Lake House!

What a fantastic time we had in this beautiful lake home! We were a group of ten - - me, my husband, our two daughters and son-in-laws and our four grandchildren (three six-year olds and one four year old)! The spacious home was perfect for either gathering in the two-story great room or finding separate spaces in which to enjoy some solitude. We utilized and appreciated all three floors of living space including the two outdoor spaces. The upper deck was perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake, Alligator Hill, the dunes and lovely sunsets! Our grands loved the sandy beach area and the shallow water. The kitchen was very well-equipped and even came with two (!) dishwashers. We also appreciated the two washers and dryers located on the first and ground floors. The bedrooms had ample hanging space and drawer space and the beds were very comfortable. The location is great with proximity to Glen Arbor and a marina for renting boats less than a five minute drive away. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had and was most accommodating. I highly recommend this property! We have already booked for next year!

We love this rental house! My family has had three separate trips and each time we can’t wait to come back again. Wonderful house, well equipped for our group/family, lots of room for people to spread out. Have never met the owner John in person but I feel like I have as he is very responsive to any questions along the way. Gorgeous property in one of my favorite places to visit. Already planning the next one!!

wonderful property to stay at

we have no complaints. the home lived up to our expectations. just have one minor suggestion. there was no pantry or empty cabinet to store our groceries. it would have been nice not to have everything out on the counters. my family really enjoyed the home and it's location. beautiful view and sunset from deck area.
