Enjoy the sound of the river rapids from the back porch swing of this waterfront cabin located in Townsend, TN. Just a short drive from Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Knoxville, and other attractions, this quaint cabin offers Smoky Mountain relaxation with the convenience of local walking-distance amenities, including a grocery store, gas station, and many restaurants.

Situated on a charming trout and small mouth bass filled river, and only minutes from the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Our cabin offers a queen bed, twin bunk bed, full bath, fully equipped kitchen, cable HDTV with DVD player, WiFi, and stone fireplace. Outdoor amenities include easy access to the Little River for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and tubing, a back porch swing overlooking the river, and fire pit for you to enjoy.

Loved this cabin. Right on the river and the back porch swing was the best place to enjoy it. Cozy and relaxing, the fireplace was the cherry on top for the cooler nights.

Very clean and open space. The cabin was close to the Cades Cove road and near grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. Bed was super comfy and the cabin was decorated nicely. Although there were cabins close it was still very quiet. The river behind was absolutely beautiful and the sound of the water flowing down the rocks was calming and peaceful. Parking was ample. Just overall very happy with the cabin.As a matter of fact I opened VRBO to see if it is available foe our dates next year!!

we had trouble checking in, was told check in was at 4.00 we were there 15/20 min tried to check in code would not work. Called verbo they said sometimes lock stuck. After talking on phone finallyt figure out it had to be no earlier than 4 to check which would of been fine if the instruction was stated.other than that the stay was great. Owner came and talked to us was very nice just a little miscommunication

We had a blast. We were up for a wedding on Saturday and totally enjoyed our stay. The wedding was at a nearby vineyard, and the cabin was in a close location to everything. We will be back.

Great stay!

This was such a relaxing long weekend. The cabin was just what we needed. The location is perfect. Flowing river view from the back porch. Lots of things to do in the area and away from the big crowds. Highly recommended

We have stayed here several times before and as always it was terrific. Cabin is clean and a good location. We love sitting on the back porch and listening to the river. Although the cabins are close to each other, we have always had good neighbors. Book this cabin if you get a chance.

Great place to stay, but they need to pay better attention to the details

We really enjoyed being next to the river and the property in general. It is a fantastic location. The geese and other wildlife were great to watch. The river is fairly noisy (good for a while), but you can retreat inside or sit on the front porch instead. I had to contact the property manager via the VRBO app after arriving for the access code because we had not received it on time. After some minutes they responded and remotely unlocked the door. A while later they were able to send us the code. The amount of toilet paper was not sufficient for our 5 night stay so we had to buy some. The TV is mounted too high to be viewed from the couch for no apparent reason. The height cannot be adjusted. We had to move the couch back as far as allowed by a bed to make it usable, but still suboptimal. The shower is small. Useable, but tight. There is enough space to have put in a larger one. The microwave has a nightlight that can’t be turned off. We had to unplug it at night as it disturbed my wife’s sleep. There was no hair dryer, so bring your own.

Amazing

Very clean, location great and owner very nice and helpful. We were a few minutes early notified him and he unlocked cabin early for us. Only about 15 minutes early but very nice he opened it and let us in. Definitely will go back.

Beautiful, simple cabin with a great river view

We loved the simplicity of this cabin and the beautiful river view! We enjoyed fishing on the river, walking to Townsend restaurants and the 5 minute drive to the park. A great location for a getaway. The cabin is clean and simple. The bed is comfy and the porch is a perfect place to spend the mornings and the evenings watching the river go by. We were blessed to meet the host, Scott. A great guy and a friendly host.

Great cabin! Great location!

We were in town for the Bronco Celebration. The cabin is in a perfect location near the event field and for relaxing by the river. It was very clean with a really comfortable bed. The shower is a tad small but certainly works to get you clean. Plenty of parking space, even if you are towing a trailer. We had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was extremely kind and friendly. Overall, we had a wonderful week, even if there were some pretty heavy rains at night.

Great location! Could use a good cleaning.

The cabin is situated in a great area. We are big Townsend lovers. It’s right on the creek, and so close to everything you need. We are very picky on cleanliness. Our expectations are high. This cabin had great reviews on cleanliness, and that’s the main reason for choosing it. I usually only look at reviews on how clean accommodations are when choosing where to stay. I think we may have hit a bad day for it. The floors were not swept. The bathroom rugs were dirty, The towels didn’t smell well, and we found hair on all of them. When we went to go to bed we decided to run to the DG and get a lint roller for hair. One pillowcase on the bunk beds was not washed at all. The pillows were flat, and could be updated. We also found some blood on the side of the bed. I always bring cleaning supplies, so we got it wiped down. Our second day we went and purchased new pillows, pillow cases, and towels. We made the best of it, and thoroughly enjoyed a fire by the creek in the evenings. Our host was easy to communicate with, and super nice. They gave us a great hiking suggestion that we really enjoyed.
