About this space
Welcome to Crocus by the Sea in Iconic Wildwood Crest! We have 4 apartments we rent all pet friendly and 3 blocks to the beach. Our charming 1st floor 3 bedroom, newly renovated 1st floor 2-bedroom side cottage, 2nd floor 2-bedroom Sea Breeze Bay and 2nd floor 2-bedroom Ocean Serenade. Our house is a 100-year-old home with a Victorian front porch You will have the feeling of a Cape may bed and breakfast only you get the whole apartment BUT with a wonderful free beach with no drop off or erosion and its very big plenty of room and space to relax or play ball or fly a kite. You can walk out 50 feet with no drop off very safe for the kids. and we have portable toilets on the beach for your comfort, and did i mention its free no beach tags.
We rent Saturday to Saturday from July 4 to August 29. For Barefoot concert weekend there is a 4-night minimum and Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend we have a 3-night minimum. All other times of the year is a 2-night minimum.
All the apartments have been renovated in the last 7 years. New kitchens and baths, central air and washer and dryer etc. Ocean serenade and Sea Breeze Bay have a beautiful porch with rocking chairs and a table for your breakfast lunch or happy hour. You each get you own side of the porch which has ocean views and a nice breeze.
We are walking distance to everything, boardwalk, Playground for kids, bike rentals and the bike path, bakery, ice-cream, church, restaurants. Saturday night entertainment at the parks AND in the summer months there's fireworks every Friday night. New for this year is our enclosed outdoor shower.
Other things to note
We have a 2-dog max with a 25-pound limit per dog. We do not rent to tenants if they are under 25 unless they are with their family as we are a family rental place. And sorry but we don't supply sheets and towels BUT we are partnering with Chrissy from Island best rental to rent sheets towels beach chairs toys for the kids and pretty much anything you need for the beach contact her at chrissy@dontpack.com put the link "Crocus" for a 10% discount. Perfect family beach vacation with dog

We had such a wonderful time staying in this pet-friendly home just a short walk from the beach. The apartment was very clean and the hosts were amazing. Would highly recommend for anyone traveling with pets.

Very convenient and comfortable!

Lovely, relaxing stay! Very clean. The upstairs open porch is great for enjoying breakfast, and all meals at home, or just relaxing with a book and/or a drink.

Great place to stay

The unit was more spacious than we expected - there was more than enough room for 3 adults and 4 kids. It was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and checking in and out was easy.The location is great. Minutes away from the beach and the south end of the boardwalk, but distant enough to be quiet.The one thing that could be improved is the pullout sofa mattress, which sinks and provides very little support. Other than that, no complaints.

Easy, exactly what we needed, great location

Just a couple of blocks from one of the motels we used to stay at when I was a kid (family's been doing vacations there since before I was born!); so a couple of blocks to the beach, a few more from the beginning of the boardwalk, and right near a bike rental. Pete and Beth were excellent; there was a slight snafu with the keybox code (my fault, actually!), but we were able to get in anyway, and they came over that evening to work it out. They let us linger a bit on the last day with zero problem (rented a crib and the owners had some scheduling conflicts, it all worked out nicely!). The apartment was just right; nice size, plenty of room (only three adults, a toddler, and a dog). Everything worked as it should. It was a great place to grab some time away for the very end of the summer, and do a great Wildwood trip (which we try to do every year!).

Our family has been vacationing here for 50 years .We are from north Jersey and we pass all the other beaches on the way down because we like our big free beach and that you can walk out 100 feet and still be waist deep. We like the beach town feel and our safe boardwalk. I can let my daughters go to the boardwalk at night and not worry We have great local restaurants and from our house we are 10 minute walk to everything

My property is unique because it is a 100 year old house in wildwood crest on a quiet one way street. It is like staying at a bed and breakfast in cape may but you get our wonderful free beach and boardwalk.
