Property was excellent!!! Mike was a fabulous and very responsive host. The bedrooms were comfortable and the living room / game room were great for our family visit. The property is very dog friendly and is very well stocked. Large dining room table was great for our family dinners as well. The location was great and was super quiet but yet close enough to everywhere we needed to go.

Excellent location, heavenly vistas, close to Mt. Washington, scenic rail rides and many great restaurants. The house was spacious, the kitchen very well equipped and beds were comfortable. Many areas needed cleaning, starting with the porch, and all rooms were dusty.

Storeyland Friends Trip

Had a great trip with our friends and our kids. The kids really enjoyed the loft area and the toys. The record collection was a great addition. The house was really well stocked with some essentials. The location is perfect, you can even hear the rollercoasters at storeyland! Great stay.

Near to hikes, skiing, restaurants and shopping

Great location for local hikes, skiing, and walking distance to Storyland. Plenty of good restaurant options. 20 min from N Conway train and shopping area. Helpful host. Nice quiet neighborhood to walk dogs. Multi level home would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Large family room would be excellent for kids to play.

Very comfortable house close to skiing and shopping. Had a great time spinning records while cooking dinner. Also loved the great views of the mountain

Storyland weekend

Photo spots from the deck to the chair lift was wonderful. Children, parents, and grandparent all had a great time.

Fantastic house and location!

We loved our stay here because it was close to Storyland and not far from Santa’s Village. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable. I loved going through the record collection! The host was very responsive and helpful. I definitely recommend staying here!

Great spot

Great comfortable house that's a nice 10-minute walk from Story Land and the aquarium -- great to not have to deal with parking there, and although there's a hill, our youngest (6 years old) was able to do the walk with no problems. Walking along nice quiet roads, not the highway. There's a game/play room that the kids loved, nice outdoor spot with a fire pit, and we also had a great time exploring the vinyl collection on the turntable with a great sound system in the living room.The host sent over a huge list of recommended local spots beforehand that was a great help, and overall the place was comfortable and clean, no problems getting checked in or out, and we had a great time there. Recommended!

Fun spot close to mountains

Everything was great and great communication with the owner, but one big problem was the one room with a pull out couch had no heat and was not usable in the winter.

Best ski house ever!

This was our 3rd time staying at the million-dollar sunset house and we will keep coming back. It is perfect for a group ski weekend-the kitchen is so well equipped, and the house has so many fun ski themed decorations-it feels like a real home. Mike is so responsive with any questions, and we have no problems at all. So close to Attitash and Wildcat. And we LOVE the record player and album collection!!!

Labor Day retret

Great location for hiking and all the area has to offer. Nice deck for relaxing, all the amenities you need. Old school albums a great addition to our cocktail hours!!

Amazing views!

The weather was wonderful for early Fall so we spent time on the deck enjoying the sun and incredible Mountain View! The open floor plan allowed for plenty of family time and the kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was very responsive on the few occasions we needed to reach out. This property worked well for our three families!

Great spot for access to everything

Overall, this was a great place for a family. Our only issue was that the grounds could use some TLC. Weeds were overgrown in the grounds and near the fire pit. The back of the house is severely overgrown also. Other than that, everything was great for a family.

Perfect place for a family reunion

My cousins and I came up to North Conway for a long planned weekend and this place was the perfect location for it. The house was big enough for all 10 of us and it was secluded enough that we didn’t have to be too quiet at night (we are a loud family). It was also the perfect spot for those of us that went hiking at Tuckerman’s and for when we went to Nostalgia night at Storyland. Mike was easy to communicate with and the house was comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again for a long weekend with family or friends.

Sweet house in a great location

Our first family gathering in two years and this was the ideal house for us all! So super comfortable, well appointed in every way possible, great location to head out and explore everyday and we all loved the amazing vinyl collection! We had a hot week, so very much appreciated the AC and also loved the air hockey table and games on a rainy day. Mike was super responsive if we had any questions. Love love love this house and can’t wait to do another family stay!

Plus and Minus

The views were great. The area very quiet and relaxing. The upstairs in regards to house keeping was perfect along with the record collection. I rated this a plus and minus because of the amount of spiders that would appear in and around the bedrooms and bathroom downstairs. You could see them walking on the carpets in all of the rooms and in the bathroom. If I was to go again I would bring some bug spray with me. Marcel

Story Land

We had a great stay! Our itinerary included a visit to Story Land and the location could not have been better. The house was perfect for four adults and three kids, who loved the large den/play room. Our only minor quibble was the number of dead bugs and spider webs in the downstairs bathroom, but it’s possible the house had gone unoccupied for some time before our arrival and some tiny critters decided to take advantage. But hey, it’s a house in the woods; what else should one expect? Overall it didn’t bother anyone and we really enjoyed our visit!
