Cool River Cottage - on the Little Red River

Home with plenty of space for up to 12 guests. The Little Red River is right in our back yard. Nice covered back porch for drinking coffee and watching the trout rise. There is a mossy shoal good for fly fishing that drops off into a fantastic deep hole. Short drive to Cow Shoals and Swinging Bridge.

Nice home with a great back yard. The house really needs a good deep cleaning and someone to ensure the dishes are clean before a family comes for a stay. We found several dirty dishes as well as a moldy cup. The beds were stiff but not bad. Overall nice place just needs a little more attention to small detail.

Quiet Peaceful Spot

The house is in a very quiet peaceful neighborhood on the River…. The pictures are accurate of the property The house could use a Major Spring cleaning… the front entry and door is in bad need of a scrubbing and we went to sit on the lounge chairs on the back deck and they were very dirty with dirt/dust and cob webs and leaves on them The deck needs a good washing down also The beds are hard and not comfortable for our taste

Home away from home

We loved and enjoyed our stay in this place, it’s beautifully decorated, the things in the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room are complete and got everything we need. Beds are very comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and suggested great place to visit around. I also love the river beside the house, sooo peaceful, highly recommended.

Fabulous home on the river

We had a group of 10 and had plenty of room. The outside deck was great as was the back yard. The river was beautiful and relaxing to watch and listen to. The kids enjoyed the kayak and paddle board one of our group brought to use in the river. Definitely recommend!

Born and lived most of our lives in Arkansas. Started going fly fishing on the Little Red when I was in college. Our place has been great for our family, and we love sharing the experience of the Little Red with others.

The house is right on the water, in a quiet neighborhood. It also has easy access to the famous fishing areas at Cow Shoals and Swinging Bridge. Greers Ferry Lake is a short drive away, as well as downtown Heber Springs.

You can walk right down to the water. We set the house up so that we can host lots of people (we also have a big family).
