“Idle Speed” Lake Martin is a newly remodeled home for 2024 with over 4500 sf of living and enjoyment area. This unique property features lake access on one side as well as a private pond on the other, with water views out of most rooms of the home. Located on the south side of Lake Martin between Kowaliga rd and Castaway Island rd the home is a 5 minute boat ride or drive to “The Social” as well as many other hot spots on the lake. Children can enjoy the downstairs game room or take a plunge of our private dock, while the adults relax on the main level, one of 3 patios, or by the fire pit. Bring your boat! The neighborhood has a private boat ramp for your use. Whatever your interest, this home has something for everyone.

Great place for an off site business meeting. Inside and out. We couldn’t have a fire due to rain but really enjoyed sitting at the fire table top after grilling out. We even caught and released a few bass from the pond during business meeting breaks. We’ll be back. Many thx.

Ullrich 50th Anniversary

We were celebrating our parents 50th anniversary! A grand time was had by all! The property for our family well! Spaces for all ages to enjoy! Kitchen and dining areas was just perfect because we love to cook and play games around the tables! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Lake Martin Idle Speed

Our family enjoyed this spacious, extremely well stocked lake house. Close to local restaurants by boat or car. Comfy beds and blackout curtains allow for great sleep. Game room has something for everyone! There was a boat ramp located next door and a dock for our boat. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for large groups

Our group of friends stay in VRBOs multiple times a year. We all agreed this was the most well thought out property we have ever stayed in. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is beautifully decorated with attention to the detail. There are hooks for hanging items, blackout curtains in bedrooms, makeup and beach towels, etc. Oh, and the bedding!! Every person raved about the bedding. The property is perfect for a large group. Plenty of space to spread out so you are not on top of each other. There are three living rooms (including the basement), two porches, a firepit, and a dock. The kitchen is open with a huge bar. We have some amazing cooks in our group and there is always someone in the kitchen. As such the living room connected to the kitchen became a favorite spot for everyone to gather. The house is well stocked with an abundance of supplies. Hands down it is the most well stocked home we have ever stayed in. Pots, pans, baking items, plates, cups, coffee, creamers, paper goods, small appliances, laundry detergent, shampoos, conditioners, body wash, etc. There are also two kayaks, a lily pad, game room, games, and books. Just about anything you could need. Kimberly was fantastic to work with. She was very friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to make our weekend special. We highly recommend this property. Rent a boat and take advantage of all that Lake Martin and this property have to offer.
