Pros and cons
Overall, we had a good stay at Junction for about three and a half months. At check-in, there were no instructions provided for gaining access to the building. I contacted management upon arrival, but was not let in to the building until an hour after I had arrived. Building security is a huge ongoing issue; most of the common doors do not lock, including the lobby door. I had two packages stolen while there, and even accidentally had a package mailed there after our stay but was able to walk right in and find it without my keys. The gym has some nice machines but no disinfecting wipes, and the gym door does not lock. We also had a persistent ant issue for several weeks upon move-in; pest control was called out four separate times until it finally resolved. Management is moderately responsive with a few exceptions - there was no iron and ironing board, which I requested but never received. Aside from this, the apartment is well-stocked, beautifully decorated, and was meticulously clean upon arrival. All the appliances worked well and the kitchen is spacious with plenty of workspace. The location is hard to beat, just a 15 minute walk to downtown. Neighbors are friendly and courteous. Noise is a bit of a concern from adjacent units and the street outside. The water gets warm but not very hot (as for a bath). The views of the hills are gorgeous and the balcony is nice - our dog loved to sunbathe out there and watch passersby. All in all, there were pros and cons!
