Experience the energy of New Orleans at The Eleanor, a vacation rental in the heart of downtown — just minutes from Bourbon Street, the French Quarter, Caesars Superdome, and Smoothie King Center. Whether you’re visiting for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, a concert, or just to enjoy the city's legendary nightlife, dining, and shopping - our location puts you steps from it all.

The space is great if traveling with family, friends, or any type of group. The space offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining table and living room with two queen size sleeper sofas. The bedrooms have a king bed. Three bedrooms have private bathrooms attached, while the last two bedrooms share a jack n jill style bathroom. Three of the bathrooms offer showers only and the fourth bathroom offers a tub/shower combo. The living room offers a 65” TV and the bedrooms have a 55” TV. Each unit has a stacked washer and dryer for use during your stay as well. This unit also has a large outdoor patio for entertaining.

The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the property. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk. This area is designated as non-smoking.

We have a designated vaping area located on the 9th floor of the building. Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in our units and will set off our state of the art smoke alarm system.

The Eleanor New Orleans is located in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Ave featuring 31 units that are 3-6 bedrooms and range from 1,178-1,959 sq ft. We are a locally owned and operated vacation rental in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Avenue. Our arrival process is contactless, but our property manager and/or front desk staff are available 24/7 during your stay.

While our vacation rental does not offer parking, there are two public parking facilities conveniently located directly below the property. Rates are generally $20-30/24 hours (but will increase during special events and festivals). The two parking options are located just below our property. Park First Saratoga Garage #1025 and has a height clearance of 6’4”. The other option, ParkMobile Zone 50408 (surface lot), is also directly behind our building for overflow or oversized vehicles.

Superdome – 10 minute walk

Transportation:
Amtrak (train) and Greyhound (bus) Stations – 0.7 miles, easily accessible via the Union Passenger Terminal via Canal St Streetcar (only $3/day on the Le Pass RTA app).

Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) – 14.4 miles (approx. 20 minutes without traffic) – There are many Uber/Lyft/Taxi cabs at the airport that are readily available to bring you downtown.

The Eleanor is located on a streetcar line. Use the streetcar to get to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, City Park, Cemeteries and plenty of other areas along the way. We recommend downloading the Le Pass RTA app and getting a Jazzy Pass for getting around the city.

Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $135/stay (max 2 included). We have a designated pet relief area on the 9th floor, and there is also a grassy park located across the street from our units. Please let us know ahead of time if you are planning to bring a pet.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available for your stay for an additional fee of $300 for a 12pm arrival or $200 for a 2pm arrival. A late departure of 12pm would be an additional fee of $200 (an extra 2 hours). Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage pre- or post-stay, so if you need to guarantee an earlier arrival or departure, we recommend booking the night before or after in order to guarantee anything earlier than the 2pm arrival or later than a 12pm departure.

We only require light cleaning prior to departure – taking out garbage and washing any dirty dishes. All linen is professionally laundered between guests.

Reservations are not confirmed until the Rental Agreement is signed. The Rental Agreement link will be sent to you immediately after booking.

You will have private access to your unit. The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the building and is designated as a non-smoking area. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk.

Our arrival and departure processes are contactless, but our property manager and/or front desk staff are available 24/7 during your stay. Upon booking, please provide an updated email address and phone number.

We are also a mile from the Amtrak (train) and Greyhound (bus) Stations. We are located above a separately owned parking garage with a second surface lot just to the rear of our building. Their prices are generally $20-$30/24 hours (unless you’re coming over a special event or festival). The garage is Park First Saratoga Garage #1025. And the surface lot is ParkMobile Zone 50408.

What an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Well hidden gem in New Orleans!!! It have various sized units that can pretty much accommodate any needs!!! The staff from House keeping, property managers Shane and Lilly are Phenomenal!!!As a note, this IS NOT a Hotel!!! Exactly what I was looking for on my visit for our group of 10! The pictures that you see on their website is what your accommodations will be!!!

Perfect Location!!! We were within walking distance from the casino, Jackson Square, the French Market, and yes the French Quarter. The pool and the hot tub were clean and used every day. Cooling in the pool after our walking trips was the perfect to beat the heat. The penthouse was very clan and well maintained. There were 5 men in the bachelor party that all agreed that there could not have been a better place to stay.

47th Birthday/Girls trip

This penthouse was beautiful and very clean—perfect for celebrating my 47th birthday and girls’ trip! My friends and I truly loved everything about it. The only small downsides were not being able to access the TVs in the bedrooms and the lack of a barrier to keep shower water from spilling onto the floor, which meant we had to use extra towels. Still, those were minor issues compared to the overall experience. The location is ideal—close to everything—and I would absolutely stay here again!

Girlfriend trip

The property appealed to us because we are a group of 7 longtime girlfriends that gather at a different destination once a year to catchup with each other. There were enough beds for us and a living and kitchen area that made it easy for us to share our stories. The location was far enough away from the noise of Bourbon Street but close enough to walk to it and everything else. The #202 airport bus stopping just outside the property was a bonus. The only reason for an overall rating of 4 is that there were a few minor things that needed some repair but I have shared those with the property manager already. The property manager Shane was very responsive whenever we had questions.
