Luckily we only stayed a couple days and really used the cabin to sleep, being gone most of the day, sight seeing. The place was clean, smelled great when we arrived - no odor some cabins have. We did notice slight odor downstairs with bedrooms but we're use to it as we live in a cabin! However, it is dingy & for sure needs some repairs indoors. Shower had super glue as the grout between some of the tiles & was coming a part - hanging off. The heaters around floor in bedrooms had exposed metal, coverings broke off. and the bedrooms are small with only maybe a foot between bed & wall. We felt it wasn't as described and also wish we would have known to bring own linens sooner as we drove from GA & only heard back from the owners 3 days into our trip (4 days before arrival) - luckily family meeting us in Boston brought linens for us. Would also recommend bringing comforter/blanket bc there is no washer/dryer on site so we have no idea if the comforters on the beds have been washed between stays! You also have to take your trash to town transfer station (who is very particular - self sort recycling) with the provided transfer sticker (MUST RETURN BACK to chalet). You do need to clean before you leave (vacuum, wipe down bathroom sink, tub and kitchen countertop, etc).
The location is great. Not far from town, trails and state parks. The place was fine for the couple days we stayed.
