Loved the location. Very quiet. Never used the pool area as we aren't pool people. After a busy day, was a nice place to relax at night.

Wonderful

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A beautiful apartment—just like in the pictures—in a great, central location near many restaurants. It was also clean and very well-maintained.

Great place, great location. Enjoyed our 5 night stay for 3 people. Place was well appointed, except only a small "starter" amounts of toilet paper, shampoo, laundry soap, bath soap, etc - these are not things we travel with and generally would expect to not have to go buy a whole bottle of shampoo that we then throw away after our short visit. Seems they could have spent the $3 more and just provided this stuff... But in general, pretty good.

As noted, this unit was immaculate. Very comfortable bed, great outdokr seating options, parking and easy laundry. A very quiet alternative to the heart if Kona downtown. Definitely.more rainforest vibe vs beach vibe. Very appreciative for the immemties - snorkel gear, body boards, towels, beach chairs & umbrellas! Door daah delivered there and aboit 5 min from Starbucks! NO RESORT FEES which are very common by the beach!

The main reason I chose this property was its proximity to the IRONMAN World Championship finish line. I knew going in this wasn't going to be the Ritz-Carlton. I was paying for location, location, location, and that was my priority. The condo was nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals, the bathroom was fine, and the balcony was huge. There were a few downsides. Although the floors appeared clean, the bottoms of our feet became extremely dirty walking around barefoot. For the price we paid, I also expected a king-size bed and a mattress that didn't sag in the middle. The complex was acceptable considering its age. The main elevator had “Out of Service” signs posted, although I did see residents using it. Several underground parking spaces were occupied by construction, which made parking my Ford Expedition a challenge. It fit, but required careful maneuvering and very cautious driving. The office staff was helpful whenever I had questions, which I appreciated.Overall, I knew what to expect when booking this property. I wasn't looking for luxury; I needed a convenient location close to the IRONMAN finish line and was willing to pay for that convenience. The condo had a few shortcomings, but it provided what we needed. In the end, the location was worth it, and the property worked for my purposes.

Aloha! Mahalo for taking the time to share your detailed feedback! We’re delighted that the condo’s convenient location near the IRONMAN World Championship finish line worked so well for your visit and that you enjoyed the spacious lanai, well-equipped kitchen, and assistance from our team. We appreciate your comments regarding the floors, mattress, and overall condition of the property. We will certainly review these concerns with our housekeeping and maintenance teams, as guest comfort and cleanliness are very important to us. We also understand the challenges with parking and the elevator situation, which are managed by the condominium association. IRONMAN is one of the busiest times of year in Kailua-Kona, and properties within walking distance of the finish line are especially desirable. We’re glad the location ultimately met your needs and that you had a comfortable stay overall. Mahalo again for choosing to stay with us, and we hope to welcome you back to Kona in the future!

Our stay

Good location for walking around in the village. However there are so many warnings about 100 fines we often felt we could get fined for something we didn’t understand. Not sure we would stay again because of the negative attitude towards guests.

Great Island Hop spot to Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was in a excellent location. It was just the perfect size for our family to relax as we enjoyed exploring the island. The AC was pur favorite part especially since Kona can be especially hot. The only small downside out of our whole experience is that the floors were very dirty. We are a local family who always takes our shoes off before entering a home. So having to wear our shoes in the living space was very odd for us. Overall it was just the right size for us and we would stay here again for our little island hop vacations.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
