Entry was very simple, beds were tremendous. TV was great with lots of options. Building was clean but definitely needs updated kitchen cabinet. Walls should be repaired and painted.We will stay there again as it is handicap accessible with only one step. Easy to find, good entry and privacy parking. If you like to know the time, be sure to take a clock.

Convenient and perfect for pets! However, I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement for future guests: It smelled a little musty upon entering the side door. There was only one roll of toilet paper The tv in the main room didn’t work properly.

We really enjoyed the convenience of this property during our St. Charles trip. The location couldn’t be better—you can walk downtown in just a few minutes, and having a Dunkin’ Donuts and a gas station nearby made quick stops easy. The bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable, and staying on a historic landmark added a unique touch to the experience.Unfortunately, the stay wasn’t without drawbacks. The cleaning standards fell short of what we expected. There was algae growing inside the Keurig’s water tank, which made it unusable. We also found a dirty sock on the floor next to the couch and a used plastic fork sitting on the headboard of one of the beds. Additionally, the bathroom didn’t have any towel racks, which made it less functional.While the location was excellent, the cleanliness issues were significant enough that we would likely choose a different rental if we return to St. Charles.

We arrived on Friday evening to find an adorable and clean place to stay. Check-in directions worked perfectly and there were no issues.The king sized bed we slept on was very comfortable. I sleep pretty deep, however, I was woken up by a couple loud vehicles that drove past the house in the overnight hours. The house is right next to a fairly busy street, so if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs or a noise machine to help you sleep more soundly. There was a Keurig in the kitchen, but the location is very close (a short walk) to a Starbucks and Dunkin is only a couple minutes walk beyond that. It’s very convenient to be able to get your caffeine fix as you head out on your adventures for the day. Other restaurants and shopping areas are conveniently located nearby. The water pressure was on the weak side for showering and it would start strong when using the kitchen or bathroom sink, but then would weaken. We didn’t bring our pets with us during this stay, but it is a perfect place for them and we’d definitely bring them in the future.I had a couple questions for the host and he got back with me in a reasonable time frame.Check-out was simple and fast.We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect cozy space

We were in town for a concert and loved our stay here. Great location very close to restaurants and bars. Very safe area. Had a very private back patio next to a creek which made morning coffee even better. Place was clean and had all the necessities. We will stay here again.

Awesome

This property is just delightful. It was a wonderful stay with such a beautiful backyard and patio. There was a historical marker in the front yard. It was blocks from the historical downtown of St. Charles. It was within walking distance from a Starbucks and shopping in the area.
