A Wedding Weekend Getaway

Rented the house for several family members for a wedding in the area. The house was perfect in every way. The views, the amenities, the location, just to name a few. Would definitely return!

No TV service for 1 week and Ants in kitchen

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love the home..stayed 2-weeks First cable TV service Both weeks....Ants-Ants-Ants
VrboOwnerからの返信 (投稿日 : 2020 年 3 月 18 日)
We are truly sorry for the inconveniences experienced during your stay. This property began a monthly & quarterly pest control service in August. We try to avoid service while guests are present. Had we known about the ants during the 2-week stay we would have moved the service date. Regarding the cable, due to a new owner establishing a business class service account, the installation was not handled properly by the cable company. Cable boxes were provided for all TV's after the first week of the guest's stay. However, the cable company did a random audit of homes and cut the service off because their technician did not properly mark the box as a business account. All services are now restored and properly identified.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented fior a wedding weekend. Great location and excellent weather (late April). We hosted a brunch on Sunday; easily handled 80-100 people. One of few rental houses in WB where events allowed. Easy access to beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really appreciate having the bikes, beach chairs as well as the beach towels. The only things that need attention are the lock on the front door as the code did not work and the bike locks did not work.

Weekend Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband did the Ironman and we needed a place to stay for 12. This house was in a great location, beautiful property, and a gorgeous ocean view. The kitchen was fresh and new and had the best essentials ever. There was plenty of seating. There could be a little more lighting in the living room and maybe the kitchen, but overall this was a top-notch property and a very enjoyable weekend.

Best Wedding Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for the bride’s family the weekend of her wedding. The ceremony and rehearsal dinner were held at the Surf Club which is practically next door. There was plenty of room for everyone and the view was great. All of our needs were met or exceeded. The bicycles provided were a nice surprise for our young adults. We would love to return to the Ocean Perch in the summertime.

Good to be back and amazing place for wedding party!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very excited to secure the Conch house for our wedding party for the big weekend. It was a special place because it was my college house several years prior, two years in a row. There have certainly been many updates since the college days and an additional bathroom. The property is amazing and very accommodating to a good size group. The house was very clean, SeaScape was very friendly and professional. It was a great part of wedding week. Thank you for keeping the house in great shape! We’ll certainly be back.

Great house for a family reunion vacation.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was the perfect size for our big family trip. There were seven adults and five kids. The kids loved the bunk beds downstairs, while the bedrooms were comfortable for everyone else. The kitchen and dining area were large enough for a large party and we got plenty of use out of them. We also used the brand-new grill a few times. We love the location, because there is a non-public beach access right behind the house with a short few hundred foot walk to the beach. This particular spot on the beach had a great little tide pool area with a sandbar out a little further in the water. My only small complaint on the house was that we had to park outdoors since the garage was pretty full of stuff. In the garage, though, there were plenty of beach accessories and toys, tons of chairs, boogie boards, bikes. We would have used the bikes but no helmets were included, so that might be something to add. The ping-pong table downstairs in the house got plenty of use, as did the deck, which had some shade and some sun. All in all, a great spot!

Great House and Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very clean and nicely furnished house with great views for not being directly on the oceanfront. Walk to the beach easy and just close enough that 2 year olds could navigate without being carried! Location was wonderful as we were all involved in a wedding in Wilmington. Having the full length mirrors were so appreciated for getting ready for the wedding! Also the high chair and port a crib were much appreciated!! Beds were a little too soft for taste but we know that not everyone likes a firm mattress. Overall it was a fun week at a great house. If I were to make any suggestions to the home owners it would be: I think the kitchen trash receptacle should be a little larger to accommodate the many guests that your house can hold. The current one is very nice and sleek and fits well in the space but it is too small for up to 14 guests. To help prevent sand being brought into the house, it would be nice to have an enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water. It was very difficult to get small children with sand in their pants to stand under a very cold hose to rinse off. And lastly, side by side refrigerators and freezers look great with water dispensers, but for families bringing frozen meals there was no way to fit containers in the freezer portion and then space (which is already limited) was used in the refrigerator. A lot more trips to the grocery store became necessary because we didn't have space to keep anything cold. Used up a lot of my beach/deck time driving to Harris Teeter! Check in and out was super easy with the code. Very well maintained house with lots to offer. For a sun sensitive grandma - the best part was the covered deck with the comfy chairs listening to the ocean!!

Wedding Trip

Our family flew here from Texas to celebrate the wedding of our niece. We all love the beach and ocean so this location was perfect....just a short stroll away. The house was lovely with lots of big windows to view the ocean and lots of light making it bright and cheery and there was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. We were also pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils , pots and pans As for sleeping.... I usually have back pain at night but the mattress there was so supportive and comfortable I had no pain any of the nights there...a miracle for me! I would heartily recommend this home for rental! My only disappointment was that it wasn't summer although I didn't let that stop me from plunging into the surf in November, briefly.

The ocean views from the deck are amazing and the short walk to the beach makes it easy to come and go throughout the day. Love the new decor and the new extra bathroom! We will be back again next year.

Ocean Perch Summer 2020

Great house and location. Spacious and well appointed for group of 10 family members celebrating several milestones. Some of the beach equipment sparse/in bad condition (shelter broken, chairs damaged, inoperable bike locks), but minor inconveniences that did not tarnish the experience. Would definitely return!
