One bedroom (queen bed) apartment with amazing views of Mt Hood, Columbia River and the Gorge. 15 minutes from PDX. Within walking distance of parks and beautiful downtown Camas. A short bike ride or drive to Lacamas Lake, Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge, and the Columbia River. You can spend all day visiting Camas' many pubs, restaurants, wine tasting venues, book stores, retail stores, etc. A longer drive will take you within the Gorge for hiking, biking, dining and more wine tasting.

This is a really private property but still very close to town. It brought a lot of nice simplicity. Would def stay again.They were very responsive. Also the sound of the rain at night was amazing. Thank you for this stay!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this property. The apartment is located upstairs, with a breathtaking view. The decorations are beautiful and the apartment was super clean. I have zero complaints about my stay.

Sweet Place to Stay

This was the second time we stayed in the "Gateway to the Gorge" VRBO, and we were just as pleased with it as we were the first time. The hosts thoroughly thought about guests' needs, from the decor to amenities. The space provides privacy, beautiful views, and the creature comforts for a lovely getaway.

Beautiful Views in Cozy Upstairs Apartment

We love the Camas Washougal area. Well done upstairs apartment with beautiful views of Mount Hood. The night scape is very well done as well. Very quiet and comfortable.

Great Place in Camas

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The apartment atop the garage was thoughtfully decorated, clean, comfortable, private and had everything we needed for our three nights in Camas. We even had a clear day to take in the breath-taking view of Mt. Hood from our deck. Our hosts set a high bar for VRBOs.

Wow! This property is amazing. We stayed here for a few days on the first leg of an Oregon road trip. Although in Washington, this property is an easy drive to the Portland airport. It is located on what seems near the highest point in Camas. This little apartment above a garage is so well designed. The porch has amazing views. You can see the Colombia river and (we discovered on our last day when the sky was clearer) Mt. Hood. This unit does not have a full kitchen (we knew that) but we prepared most of our meals using the microwave and had all the dishes, tableware, etc. needed to make that very workable. Nice private parking just outside the stairs to the unit. This property was our home base while exploring the Colombia River Gorge and Portland. On our next trip to Portland/Vancouver we will certainly try to stay here.

Great Location, Views, Accommodations

We typically use rentals as just a "base camp" for our daily activities - just needing a place to shower and sleep. This place was something that we looked forward to coming back to each evening and spending some time each morning on the deck with coffee, wine, etc.! The host went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and was very considerate of us when she had some work that needed to be done around the house.

Amazing view

This was a wonderful place to stay. I’d highly recommend it to my friends and I’d definitely stay here again. The location in Camas was great along with the cozy feel of the accommodations. I even spent each morning on the deck overlooking the beautiful view drinking my coffee. Great way to start the day. We were able to explore Washington and Oregon which was amazing, and also looked forward to going back to our vacation apartment. Thanks for an amazing stay
