Welcome to Lakefield villa! Furry friends welcome! Hot tub! This modern cozy abode boasts breath taking views and lake access where luxury meets serenity. Enjoy star lit evenings by the fire pit or soak in the hot tub! The fully equipped kitchen allows you to enjoy your favorite meal. With the grill, indoor/outdoor games, ping pong, you are sure to forget about your stresses. There is a shared neighborhood landing/dock which is a 2 minute drive across from the property with adjacent boat parking. Experience nature's tranquility from the comfort of your own oasis near a variety of attractions in the Smith Mountain Lake area!

4.5 stars - great stay! The home is easy to find and not ridiculously far from grocery, dining, and entertainment. Hosts were commutative and made check in super simple. Our group especially enjoyed the large outdoor deck.

Wonderful Labor Day Celebration

We had a relaxing and peaceful weekend in this comfortable and welcoming home! We enjoyed home cooked meals together as a family while celebrating our son’s birthday. Close proximity to Smith Mountain Lake provided beautiful nature walks as well as kayaking, boating and fishing! Highly recommended!!

Family time❤️

This was a great middle meeting place for us to meet our adult children to celebrate my husband for Father’s Day. It was located in a great place. Very clean. The property host was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. Lake access is close and fun. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. We highly recommend.

Home away from Home

I absolutely love staying at this home. It was very clean, inviting and cozy. It looked exactly like the pictures online. The entire process was smooth. My family came for my graduation, after a almost 10 hour drive and days of activites we could not wait to get back to this home. We brought along our puppy and even she was a happy pup. The host was so efficient and responded right away to answer any questions I had from start of my booking until the moment we left. Excellent communication and alot of small touches that made our trip memorable. The only downside was not staying longer to enjoy the lake. My family did not want to leave.

There were many issues at the house. It took us 20 minutes to get in the house because the code wouldn’t work. The house appears to have not been cleaned up for months. It really needed a deep clean. I was unable to take a bath in primary bathroom. When I turned on the water it was brown and smelled like rotten eggs. When I turned on the jets bugs came out. The bunk bed did not have sheets on them. There were lightbulbs that needed replacing in both bathrooms. Kitchen was in need of a deep clean. The wall was dirty by table, the handles on the refrigerator were sticky and dirty. The hot tub filter needed to be changed. And the hot tub needed chemicals. There was a bee nest on the hot tub cover. The hot tub water was cloudy. The property has not been maintained. Grass hasn’t been mowed, weeds all around the hot tub. The sofa on the deck was covered in pollen. Leaves all over the deck. Cigarette burns in the carpet on the deck. The grill was dirty and not usable. I sent this information to the host and have not received a response.
