Beautiful beach bungalow close to the beach but quite and out of traffic. So much space for hosting and room to spread out. Comfortable beds. Cute decor. Nice park for kids nearby.

The photos of the home don’t do it justice. It’s plain on the outside but the interior is amazing. Check in was simple. The code was sent to me and was easy to operate. The house is beautifully decorated and there is attention to detail thru out. The kitchen is laid out well and stocked with anything imaginable. The dishwasher is so quit you won’t hear it. All the drawers are pull out and organized. All the appliances worked well including the gas grill outside. There is plenty of seating and all the furniture was clean, comfortable and well maintained. I think the owner’s thought of everything. The backyard is big and the grandkids had a blast playing in it. My only advice is if you like to snuggle under a blanket while watching t.v. bring your own throws. And for those wondering we were a family of 6 adults and 4 kids all under the age of 5!

Great house

We had a great time. House was very clean and spacious. Loved how they had beach chairs and toys available, plus bags to play in the garage. 5 minute walk to beach and kids corner playground about a 3 minute walk. Host was very responsive to questions and helpful. Recommend for sure.

Great for Extended Families

Sunset Haven was the perfect property for our extended family trip! Lots of space for everyone to comfortably be together. It wa fresh and clean and we experienced quick and clear communication from our host. It was also nice and close to the lake while also tucked away on a calm and quiet street. Would definitely book again!

Beautiful home. Very well taken care of. Hosts were fantastic and super responsive. Would highly recommend staying here and when we come back this will be the place we would stay again

A Perfect Getaway

This was one of the most amazing places that we have ever rented! Completely updated, super clean, very spacious, and stocked with everything that you'll need for a perfect vacation. The location is wonderful-a short walk to the beach and downtown, and located in a very nice neighborhood. The host was quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic

We loved this house! Close to town, close to the beach, clean, large enough for the 3+ families (6 adults and 4 kids mostly, another adult for a few days and yet another adult with 2 kids over for dinner a few days in a row). This is the 4th house in South Haven we have rented so far, and is our favorite. We would 100% stay here again!

Perfectly Appointed and Meticulously Clean!

Each summer our family rents in South Haven for 4th of July week, already considering booking this same property for next year! We own our own investment properties, and we were blown away by how clean this home was, right down to inside the drawers and cabinets! Even the bath towels were thick and fluffy! We walked to the Kids' Park, the beach, and to watch fireworks. Our granddaughter loved rolling in the thick grass in the private backyard, we enjoyed grilling on the grill and roasting s'mores in the firepit. The attached garage was a plus as we were able to plug in our rented golf cart each night. If you appreciate cleanliness and comfortable furnishings in a quiet neighborhood let close to activities, don't hesitate to book this home!

Perfect Stay

Newly remodeled house! We've stayed in prior to remodel and loved it, but now this house is on another level. The fully finished basement is a game changer and adds so much more room. Also, this property has some of the best beds we've experienced in South Haven.

Great place on a quiet street!

Opened the door and was hit with a "new" smell which was supported cleanliness, furnishings, and decor. Give a decorator the direction to decorate their vision of a beach home and this was it. It was exceptionally clean and an easy stay. On the downside - we took some small kids (3 year old and 1 year old) - The decorations had a lot of temptations to play with all the little decor items - luckily we kept them busy with other things to play with. But the proximity to Kids Corner was exceptional. A fantastic stay and we've love to go back.

Great House and Location!

The house is a wonderful space for a multi family vacation! (3 adults, 4 kids 8 and under). Plenty of room for kids to play and explore. We love the remodel and all of the new extras! Kids loved the foosball table and arcade games. The location is perfect and everything went very smoothly. Communication with the owner was great. I hope we'll be back for another South Haven get away here next summer!

Family Reunion (Hakuna Matada)

Exceeded expectations! Number 1 with us a rental has to be CLEAN! 3 bathrooms wonderful! Spacious! Fantastic location for us. Reunion site a mile away. Husband born & raised in SH a few blocks from blue stairs. Our daughter & son in law & almost 3 yr old granddaughter & 7 year old grandson & daughter & fiancé enjoyed as well. We all live in Naples, FL & felt blessed to be back in the mitten to enjoy the gorgeous weather! So many fond memories! Beach, boating, bakery, Sherman’s ice cream, St Basil’s Catholic Church, kids corner, picking blueberries, sunsets @ blue stairs. Thank you!

Sunset Haven - July 2023

The house was very recently totally updated and was clean and "new" in all areas. Plenty of space and everything worked fine. A 3-block walk to the beach and just past the Kids Corner playground and then across the street has stairs down to the beach made it convenient to South Beach. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries. Great place to stay in South Haven.

My husband and I have been small business owners for over 15 years. We have 2 children, who absolutely love and enjoy our South Haven house. We are from a Northwest Suburb of Chicago, IL.

Our family has been coming to South Haven for over 10 years. Every time we come we enjoy the downtown area, beach, Kids corner, farmers market, wine tasting, golfing, and picking blueberries. It's a nice way to get away from it all without going far from home. We also love walking to the lighthouse and we love watching the sunsets. There is so much to do in this beautiful town. We were also attracted by the cute downtown area with fudge shops, candy shops, and ice cream shops. We just truly love the atmosphere and we have never met nicer people to be around.

This house is located on a private street with a large .25 acre backyard. The best part is the 5 minute walk to the beach and only being a mile from downtown. We have owned the house for over 8 years and decided to make some big changes. We recently renovated Sunset Haven specifically for family gatherings of our family and yours. With the finished basement, it is now 2800 sq ft of space, with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and sleeps 12. There are 2 eating areas, 2 family rooms, and a large open gathering space. Outdoor dining area on concrete patio with enough seating for everyone. The finished basement includes a bedroom, full bathroom, finished laundry area, Arcade and Foosball table. Located inside the garage, there is an EV Charging Station (level 2 chargepoint). With nearby activities for everyone and located on a quiet side street, it is the perfect place for making memories.
