Barn dominium (right side of the building) with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, plus a twin size rollaway in the living area suitable for a child or small adult. 1 full bathroom with shower and hairdryer. All linens, towels and paper products supplied. We also have soft water. Toiletries available upon request. Full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and utensils and dish soap. Wi-Fi and Roku on the TV + DVD player. BBQ grill and outside seating on a covered patio area with views of Needles and Black Elk Peak. Firepit. Great for a relaxing evening. Star gazing is great here as well. Paved road to the property. Well behaved pets are welcome. Pets cannot be left unattended. 4 miles to downtown Historic Downtown Custer, 6 miles to the West entrance of Custer State Park, 9 miles to Sylvan Lake, 11 miles to Crazy Horse, 12 miles to Wind Cave Park, 12 miles to Jewel Cave, 15 miles to Hill City and the 1880 Train and Depot, 34 miles to Mt. Rushmore and 1 hour to Rapid City. Fishing and hiking. Custer offers many dining opportunities.

So Good I Had to Come Back to Show My Mom!

I stayed here last fall, & it was perfect! So I took my Mom for Mothers day trip & we so enjoyed our stay!Hosts are over the top excellent hosts! They go above & beyond to make sure your stay is the way you want it!The place is located near everything we wanted to do, & clean clean clean! And we love relaxing at fire pit at end of the day! I will book again for my 3rd time!!!!

Nice place with great views!

The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Great location! Plenty of room to entertain family. The house was clean, and beds were comfortable. The view of the hills out of the kitchen/living room windows were fantastic.

Perfect location

It was in the perfect location, close to crazy horse, mt rushmore as well as shopping. Owners responded right away with any questions I had before arrival and once there everything we would need to have a relaxing enjoyable stay was provided. Beautiful house. Would most definitely stay again if I ever make it back out again

Awesome Stay & Want to return again

Property was super clean, comfortable, and beds were comfy, & Owners were amazing! I felt like we were friends! They were above & beyond nice & even let me pick rocks! My pup was comfy, & the fire pit was so enjoyed! And the view is wonderful! Will definitely book a return!

This was a wonderful property close to all of the state and national parks in the area. The owners are wonderful, it’s a beautiful house and piece of property. If you like dark skies, then this is also an ideal spot. I captured a great photo of the Milky Way on just my iPhone.

Nice central location

The area was quiet and rural while being approximately 30 minutes or less from Hot Springs, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and more. Accommodations were comfortable. I would stay again if in the area.

Absolutely charming!

First off, communication with the property owners was stellar! Immediate quick responses! We got delayed with our road trip from Western Wyoming and ended up arriving later than expected. We kept in touch. But oh!!! Such a quaint, charming place! Wish we could’ve enjoyed it longer! My nephew sleeps with lights on and my partner in crime? Complete darkness. A motel in one room would not work! Perfect place to cater to both sleeping ways! Highly recommend! Provided so much just wish we could’ve enjoyed all! Thumbs up!!!

Awesome place to stay for taking utv

Saw elk three miles south of here on the trails. Deer everywhere. Plenty of room for walking dogs. Awesome fireworks show in Custer for the fourth. Recommending to some of my coworkers who like utv rides. Trailer friendly parking. Nice cooking area and grill set up. Beds and couches are comfortable. Very clean place to stay.

Perfect location to nearby attractions, spacious

Family Vacation

My sister's family and mine enjoyed a spontaneous vacation to various areas in South Dakota. We were fortunate to locate this base site for a 2 day stay. The accommodations were very nice and the owner very friendly! Thanks for the good nights stay!
