Lark's Nest on Lake Hickory w/Dock & Tesla Charger

The house has a beautiful view of Lake Hickory. We are located on one of the calmest coves, with a large stationary dock. We have a kayak available for use. Boat rentals are available at Lake Hickory Marina, located around the corner. There is a sand bar where the locals hang out on their boats. Super fun for families and people of all ages. We also have a tesla charge station located at the house which is hard to find around Taylorsville. Bring the Tesla or any other vehicle and enjoy some time of fun and relaxation on the lake.

Little Slice of Heaven

The listing really doesn't do this place justice. Super spacious, clean, and the lake was by far the best part! We went to spend Christmas with our daughter and there was even a Christmas tree up and ready for us to celebrate. It was only a short drive to anything we needed. We are already looking forward to booking our next getaway here!

The overall stay was wonderful. Both bathrooms had tubs that took too long to fill. Other than that, the home and its views were amazing!

Perfect Family Weekend

Booked this house for Parebts weekend from UNCC. Brought our son and 3 of his friends. It was perfect for the group! The house was clean, perfect size! The dock was great. The boys swam and kayaked all day then had a fire in the evening. I was able to cook “real food” as well. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay on the lake. Just what we needed to decompress for a weekend. Although there were a few glitches, the listing said it had a hot tub (one of the main reasons for choosing this property) and there was no hot tub. There was no tp in the house. Had to make a trip to the store to buy some. House was clean and had a great view of the lake.

Not expected

The home is as shown, view is beautiful. Communication with owner over issues was great. However the home did not appear to be professionally cleaned prior to my arrival. Looked more picked up than clean-crumbs in kitchen, dirty dish in dishwasher, used shower towel left hanging and trash from bathroom not removed. I was not informed prior to my stay that the owner lives here every other week. This was only disclosed to me after I started asking questions about items discovered in the home. There were no pillow protectors on any pillow and one mattress did not have a mattress cover. He did refund my money as I did not feel comfortable staying. I hope in the future he discloses this information as it would have made a difference on me renting the home.
