This was our second time staying here and we love it.plenty of room for our group of 18,and i love that there are 7 bathrooms.walk across the road to the beach.we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful property!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Grand Cayman! The property was the perfect choice for my annual girls weekend. The house was spatious, colorful, comfortable and affordable. I especially enjoyed the marsh view. I will definitely be returning. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Great Experience

The family mostly just relax, enjoy the pool and beach. Except, we thought it was going to be a private pool. Other than that, and need a place with more restaurants closer to walk to. Otherwise, all was well

Wonderful

We thought the property was out dated and could use some renovations. The beds were not comfortable and the couches were full of stains and the cushions were sucked in. But other than that the stay was fine.

Excellent vacation!

This home was ideal for our group of 16 golfers. Comfortable bedding for the entire group and plenty of space for all. The kitchen was well equipped to cook breakfasts and dinners. The outdoor charcoal grills also came in handy. All the mechanicals in the house worked properly and the unit was very clean. The sunsets on the back porches were fantastic along with the short walk to the beach. The nightly rate is also unbeatable for the quality of lodging. We will be return customers!

A wonderful family reunion

Beautiful home and location but the property needs some maintenance work. A few of the larger items were the leaky dishwasher, drying not heating up properly, spotty WiFi all week, and freezer problem, but despite them we had a wonderful reunion.

Great place to stay...willl return

Rented this house for my birthday weekend to enjoy the beach- We never left the house because it was so great! Loved the pool table/game room with the pub tables and TV, breathtaking view of the marsh, large kitchen table for everyone to enjoy a meal and play board games, great kitchen fully stocked-easy to cook in, huge TV in living room , 3 large porches to sit and relax on, large bedrooms with equally large bathrooms. Will definitely rent again...thanks

Great rental with lots of rooms and lots of views

This was a great find for our multi-family needs. Ages 1-89 and in between were very well accommodated. Very well equipped kitchen, with plenty of room for more than one cook. Our minor maintenance and cleaning issues were addressed in less than 12 hours. The marsh view provided gorgeous sunsets every night. Plenty of public walkways to the beach. The pool table was an added pleasure for many of us.

College reunion at Cherry Grove

Recently, eight friends from college met at the Grand Cayman Villas for a week of catching up. The accommodations were perfect with eight beautiful bedrooms and seven baths. We had easy beach access for walking and biking on the beach; we enjoyed great sunsets and beautiful views over the marsh from our 3 decks; we were in close proximity to great restaurants; we had room for card games, reminiscing, watching TV, and enjoying lots of stories and laughter. What a great condo and what a great week with friends!

Wedding Weekend

I can't say enough about how great our stay was at the Cayman Villa Condo. We had the whole family in for a wedding weekend and everyone was so thrilled with the accommodations that the Condo provided. It was Clean, Spacious and perfectly located near the beach as well as an awesome view of the inlet. Booking it was made easy to doing it online. All of communications were answer via email or by phone in a timely manner. They made the family weekend a truly stressfree and positive experience! :)

Hits and misses

Enjoyed the location (close to the beach), but not many attractions near by. Great for a large group, but house needs some updating, a paint job and furniture replacements. For example, the dining room table was horribly stained and the hallway walls were dirty and faded. There was a minor roach problem, a leaky dish washer, non-functioning televisions and the ceiling in one of the bathrooms started falling. A nice home, but needs to be invested in.

The location was perfect, even though it wasn’t an oceanfront. The marsh & scenery were beautiful.

The process to rent this property was easy. The communications being received from the time the rental was booked up until check out were appreciated and kept us excited for our family vacation. Our family enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. It was easy to get to stores that we needed. No beach view, but the marsh view was beautiful, especially during the morning sunrise. The unit we were in could use a deep cleaning and pest control in the kitchen/living room area and possibly some updated furniture. However, I can understand not updating, given the amount of traffic coming into the unit. Other than this, our family had a great time!

Needs a new paint job

The house could be 100% better with a new paint job. There were a couple things that needed fixed ...the toilet wouldn't flush with the handle, ne table chair had a broken leg and the garbage disposal quit working. We were supposed to have a golf cart but didn't get it till Wednesday and when we got it the tire was flat and they had to come back and inflate the tire. We had a great time though regardless.

1. Couldn't get the code to work for entrance. Called three times for different code. 2. Bed in one bedroom was completely broke and unusable 3. Not enough utensils in the house. There were 20 of us in the house and there was a total of 5 forks in the house, 4 Rails on the deck were loose and wobbly 5 Overall our stay was great but lacking a few things..

Depends on what you're looking for

Pros: Excellent location, quiet area (even during the week after Bike Week when there were still a lot of motorcycles around), outside noise stayed mostly outside, lots of room for a large group, kitchen and bathrooms were clean, plenty of HOT water, all appliances worked well, had the pool area mostly to ourselves, plenty of parking, no bugs inside the house Cons: most of the beds were very uncomfortable (one adult bought a foam bed topper early in the week, and three teens slept on the couches); other than the kitchen and bathrooms, the place wasn't that clean; the kitchen isn't well-stocked for a house that sleeps 24 (not enough utensils, only 6 glasses, only one kitchen cloth and towel, nothing to scrub pans with, etc), so we had to be creative with how we cooked meals Neutral: the towels, while plentiful (except there aren't hand towels), were small and rough; there are A LOT of steps in the house and no elevator; nothing comes with the house for guests to use (beach chairs/toys, bikes, etc) There were 5 adults and 10 teens on our class trip. We made it work for our situation, and it was fine. I would stay here again for a similar purpose, except for the beds. If you're looking for an upscale place to stay because you hang out at the house a lot, this isn't the place for you.

Dirty Old and Roaches

Upon arriving the main entrance was dirty and smelled. First thing you see is a roach trap. We literally had clean and wipe counters down before bring in our food. The refrigerator wasn’t clean.. fish scales and blood was at bottom of trays. Dead roaches were on the floor so the place clearly wasn’t swept. And then we saw several crawling on the walls and floor.. We had a group of eighteen and no one was able to unpack fully, as afraid they would get in the bags. They were crawling out of coffee pot and cabinets.. Furniture was old and smelled and some chairs were broken. Cigarettes holes in furniture. Just completely uncomfortable and disappointing. Not much really we could do as we had a group of 18 traveling from different states. Never again!! They offered to have cleaning crew come in the morning after responding back at 11:18. Cleaning should have been done before check in.

So very disappointing.....not at all as advertised....run down, dirty.......and cockroaches

I usually try to find the positives when writing a review. Unfortunately, there are only two for this property: the beach is very close (across the street) and the bdrm/bath setup was ideal. Besides those, this house in no way could accommodate up to 24 people as advertised. The kitchen was barely stocked and the broken down kitchen table only had 12 functioning chairs. The very small living room had only one sectional couch that fit about 8 of us. There was one broken Adirondack chair on the top deck and two rusty chairs on the first deck. When we checked in there we were only 8 bath towels. We had 14 people. Our first night was spent waiting for the maintenance man to fix the d/w and deliver more towels. This is providing people would want to stay there in the first place! It was filthy. We found several cockroaches, some dead, some alive. The doors were sticky from years of grime. The dishwasher was broken and filled with the last renters dishes. The stench was so bad we had to open doors. The couch was disgusting. There was a large spill of something unidentifiable on it. Luckily, there were extra blankets in the bedroom so we could cover it to sit on. The shower curtains had mold on them, and the tile floor on the first floor was clearly not washed for some time. There was no golf cart, and PLEASE be aware, the pool is shared among MANY units. The advertising is VERY deceiving. Two other things that were extremely annoying were that the garbage was never collected from the last renters and never collected while we were there. As you can imagine, there was ALOT of garbage in the driveway. And our lockbox neevr worked. We were either locked out or had to leave the back door open so we could come or go. I could go on and on, which is sad, but I'm running out of allotted characters in my review. We are not high maintenance people at all, but this house was just so neglected, I feel the need to try and rescue the next potential renters. Don't do it! Shame on the owners and VRBO for renting this property as is. Have a little pride.

How bad can it be ? Filth and neglect...Keep looking !

So it was our responsibility to book a nice vacation property for our group of 15 adults and what an embarrassment this turned out to be....Our first impression of the property was a code tht did not work. Then once we got inside we were met with the filthiest carpet ever on the stairs and dirty walls leading into the unit. So were thinking (hoping) that it's just an entryway and surely this is not a glimpse of what we're going to find inside.....no such luck. I really cannot adequately describe the disappointment we felt upon seeing the filth of this unit but I'll try. The set up of the rooms is good but this is a severly neglected property. Once inside, the first problem we encountered was that there were no working lightbulbs in the stairways leading up to the bedrooms. This is a three story unit and there are no windows in the stairwells so it was pitch dark and dangerous. We couldn't see a thing. Once we got working lightbulbs, we wish we hadn't because then we could see that the walls were terribly dirty and long overdue for a painting. The whole unit needs a good cleaning; it's disgustingly fithy. The worn, outdated, mismatched furniture is rickety at best and the sectional couch that doesn't look too bad in the pictures is just plain gross. Its so dirty, filthy, crusty and worn that no one wanted to sit on it so we took the bedspreads off of the beds and covered the nasty couch with them so we had somewhere to sit. The tv's didn't work and the maintenence man tried but couldn't fix them. With a group of our size, we were hopng to do some cooking but the stove/oven did not work so that was a bust. They finally did bring in a different appliance but it was the afternoon before we were leaving so it didn't do us any good at all. There were not enough towels for the amount of people the unit holds so we called to get some more and it took them a few days to get them to us. The ones that were there were thin and barely bigger than a hand towel. We had to share until we got some more....that was unpleasant. Actually, this could be a really nice unit if the owners would put a little money and care into it. We saw inside the attached unit next door and it is set up the same way ( but reversed) but it has been beautifully updated and decorated (and cleaned) so we know this unit has potential. It would have been a very different trip had we gotten that unit instead of the one we were in.

Issues for rental.

When we arrived TV where not working. The microwave did not work and was not replaced. The house was full of roaches and even after they sprayed the house was still full of roaches.
