We had a wonderful time staying here. The cabin’s location is absolutely amazing, with beautiful views of the river, pine trees, and the mountains - perfect for peace and quiet. It’s only 15 minutes from the ski resort and about 30 minutes from Lake Placid and a supermarket.The cabin is very cozy and well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Even though a couple of days were really cold outside, the heating system worked perfectly and kept the cabin warm and comfortable. With many nearby hiking trails of varying difficulty, the peaceful and beautiful nature makes every walk a joy.

The cabin was amazing! Super clean and cozy, with a fully stocked kitchen and great views. Just right for our family of 3. Loved having access to the garage to park the car out of the snow.

The house was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. It was just what we needed. My only complaint was that the tub drained needs to be checked after every guest. It had a bunch of hair in in from the last guest. The house was well stocked and the rest of it was clean. We would go back again.

Second visit this fall to this house and did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful sunsets from the house and stunning colors all around. Amazing weather to enjoy three hikes to fully experience the different mountains and views.

We loved our stay at this VRBO. Location was beautiful and quiet. Perfect after long days of hiking. Loved view off balcony and trekked down to water. Very clean and stocked with necessities and also some extra food stuff/ice I didn't think about. I would definitely stay here again.

Property was very clean, nicely appointed, and in a fabulous location. A rocky river is within 100 or so feet from the cabin. Additionally, Lake Placid is 20 minutes away. If you like to hike you'll find trailheads about every mile in the High Peaks area.

The VIEW! We were in awe of the amazing view of the river and mountains from the cabin during our entire visit! We had a fun little adventure going down the steep ravine to get to the water with our two bigs dogs, but it was well worth it! Everything about this place is wonderful, both inside and out. I liked being in such a quiet and secluded location while still close enough to all the things we wanted to do and see - Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, High Falls Gorge, a gondala ride and hiking. The cabin is even better than what you see in the pictures. I would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed staying here. How we wish we stayed for more days. It’s very peaceful. My husband likes to sit at the back to see the sunset. And of course it is close to lake placid, Ausable chasm and high fall George. We will plan to go back.

This cabin is perfect. I have booked this cabin several times with my husband, and this time I booked it for a gals weekend getaway with my friend, and we had a blast!It's cozy, quiet, clean, and close enough to all of the hiking, swimming, shopping, and dining we could ask for. The view from the back deck is breathtaking.

We loved our stay at this property! The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the location and view were absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect location for us, being only a short drive from many of the local sites (Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, etc.). Check in was easy and the hosts were very responsive. Fabulous Cabin

This was the perfect home base for us when we hiked the nearby Great Range Traverse. The cabin is comfortable and the location is beautiful. We explored the river and loved sitting out back watching the starry sky at night. Would definitely stay here again!

This was everything I was looking for to get away for a few days. It was secluded and quiet, but still quick and easy to get into town. The cabin had everything needed to prepare meals along with a grill and a fire pit for s’mores The views were breathtaking and I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony listening to the river.

A comfortable cabin by a rushing stream

This efficiency cabin is perfect for a couple looking for some peace, quiet, and solitude. The river can be seen from the kitchen/living room and the small deck and the comforting sound of rushing water can be heard everywhere on the property. The accommodation was very clean and well appointed, with everything one would need provided and in good condition. We would stay here again.
