Morning coffee poolside? Evening cocktails and freshly caught fish cooking on the grill? Lazy days floating in the pool or napping on the daybed? Days exploring the beaches of SW Florida? Evenings discovering local restaurants? Sound good?
We think you'll love it here in this super cute, light airy, and spacious pool home in Cape Coral. Newly decorated, everything has been provided for an amazing vacation or staycation experience.
This is a beautiful vacation home with 3 bedrooms (2 king, 1 twin) with large patio area and pool with optional heating available.
Completely re-decorated in December 2021, all furnishings are brand new, including beds, mattresses and linens. The owners have named it ‘Tamarama’, after their favorite home beach in Sydney, Australia. The house has a really relaxed and comfortable beach vibe, which we think you’ll love.
Location:
- in the peaceful residential neighborhood in SE Cape Coral
- Just off Del Prado Blvd, where you will find lots of restaurants, bars and shopping.
- Easy access to Fort Myers historic downtown, Fort Myers beach, Sanibel & Captiva and beyond.
Living area:
As you enter the home, you immediately get a sense of peace. You've found your vacation oasis! The living room area has plenty of comfortable seating, a 55" smart TV with cable and access to all the popular streaming apps, such a Netflix, Prime video, etc. There is also a chilled, low seating area with a view of (and access to) the pool, with a daybed (which can be used for one guest). Perfect for an afternoon nap or a relaxed spot for reading.
Kitchen:
Accessed from the living area and dining area, it is fully equipped with all the major appliances, as well as many smaller ones, including a blender for those healthy morning smoothies (or cocktails!), a toaster, hand mixer & blender. There is plenty of dinnerware, silverware and pots and pans to create home cooked meals.
The coffee bar should satisfy all coffee lover's needs, with a dual Filter & Keurig machine, a French press, a coffee grinder, kettle, teapot, and starter amounts of coffee, pods, tea and sugar to get you going in the morning.
Dining/work/games area:
Through from the kitchen is an area with a dining table and also a dedicated desk area for when you need to work at home or home school. There are plenty of games for all the family and hours of fun. There are also large glass sliding doors leading directly out to the patio and pool area.
Bedrooms:
The master bedroom is on the left side of the house and has a king size bed, smart TV with cable, a walk in closet and private attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. There are glass sliding doors with direct access to the patio and pool area.
On the other side of the house are 2 more bedrooms. One with a king size bed and one with 2 twin beds. All bedrooms have smart TVs and closets, with dressers and plenty of space for clothes and luggage storage. You will find bedding for the daybed, located in the basket in the twin bedroom closet. These two bedrooms share a bathroom, with a tub/shower. This bathroom can also be accessed from the patio - ideal when coming straight from the pool.
The laundry room has a washer and dryer and here you will find spare towels and beach towels. You will also find a starter amount of laundry products and cleaning products in here. The vacuum, broom and mop are in a narrow closet off the kitchen hallway, next to the garage entrance.
In the garage you will find a cooler, beach umbrella, and a beach chairs, beach toys, and pool floaties. We’d really appreciate it if you could return all beach items clean and ready for the next person’s use. There is also an inflatable pump.
Outside space:
There is a large patio area with outdoor dining (seating 8) and conversational seating.
This is also where you can get your cornhole (bag toss) practice or tournaments going, as we have corn hole boards and bags for you. These are stored in the garage, and we would really appreciate you storing the inside, or under cover overnight, to preserve the wood. There is also a pool box on the patio, where you can store pool noodles, floaties etc.
The outdoor chefs will love the grill as you can cook up a feast and still be in the midst of sociable conversation with everyone.
The pool is large enough to float for hours on one of the many floaties available, or take a nap poolside, on one of the loungers or beanbags.
The home is professionally maintained and cared for throughout the year.

SE Cape Coral is a great location and base for exploring the surrounding areas and SW Florida as a whole. SE 30th St is a quiet residential street and is situated just off Del Prado Blvd, where you will find many restaurants, stores, etc. Point 57 Restaurant and Bar and Mexico Lindo are very close, which are a couple of our favorites.
It is also located a couple of minutes from the bridge over to Fort Myers, with its lively historic downtown area, filled with restaurants, bars and shops. Fort Myers beach is a 25-45 minute drive (depending on traffic - which can be heavy Jan-Mar) and Sanibel is a similar distance away. Naples, Bonita and Marco Island are all a little further south, but easily accessible.
If you are lucky, you may spot one of the many beautiful Burrowing Owls that have made their home in Cape Coral. They are protected and make their home in the ground, as their name suggests. However, please respect them - observe from a distance, and do not feed them!
A top tip - the Cape can be confusing for drivers unfamiliar with the area, as there are so many canals and waterways. It may help to know that 'Streets' and 'Terraces' run east to west, and 'Avenues', 'Places' and 'Courts' run north to south. When looking for an address, be sure to have it correct. SW 15th Terrace, is in a completely different place from SW 15th Avenue, for example.
Also be aware that Veterans Parkway and Cape Coral Parkway bridges, that connect Fort Myers with Cape Coral, are toll bridges. Charges are done automatically and are around $2/car if you have a SunPass, or $5 with no SunPass.
There is also a comprehensive Uber and Lyft network if you don't feel like driving.
Please inquire BEFORE booking about pets. We will consider some, but would like to know something about them first. There is a $100 pet fee.
The pool does not have a barrier, so children must be kept under supervision at all times in any outdoor areas.
Minimum booking age is 25.
Pets. We will consider small dogs (no cats) under 40lbs but ONLY with approval. Please inquire BEFORE booking and tell us a little about your furry family member. There is a non-refundable $100 pet fee. If we give permission for a furry guest, please ensure they stay off the furniture, beds and out of the pool.
Pool: Please note that there is no pool barrier, so children of all ages must be supervised at all times. You (occupant) agree to assume all risks associated with the use of the swimming pool and of the swimming pool’s existence on the property and will not hold the owner or property managers liable.
The pool is serviced once a week (usually on Fridays). Pool heat is available to add for a fee, please inquire ahead of your stay if you would like that setup. Please do not touch the pool controls and please notify us if there is an issue. Thank you for your understanding!
This home is a private residential community and we kindly ask that you respect the neighbors and community as a whole. Please keep noise down before 8am and after 9pm.
We know you will be considerate, but understand that accidents do happen. If damage occurs during your stay, please notify the property manager immediately so we may assess and notify you of any replacement/repair charges if applicable.
Please read through the house manual provided online and in the property, to familiarize yourself with the house and our expectations of guests.
