Family Beach Village @ Aquatika
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay.
This amazing condo unit is located in beautiful Loiza, a small community on the outskirts of San Juan. It is surrounded by a wonderful community, upscale beach condos, and miles of beautiful beach, and it’s just a few minutes away from several local restaurants, beach bars, pharmacies, and mini-marts. Major supermarkets, outlet malls, and fast food joints are a 5-10 minute drive from the complex..
The condo is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, air conditioners in every room, ceiling fans in the living room, internet access, and a SmartTV with Netflix and a DVD player for your entertainment in the living room and master bedroom as well. There's no cable in the unit but the internet works perfectly. We also provide an electric BBQ, perfect for cooking on the balcony or in the gazebo. A big plus is that we have a washer/dryer in the apartment for our guests to use. Guests have access to all of the resort amenities in the condo complex, including the pool basketball courts, tennis courts, clubhouse, volleyball court, and kids swings.
Master bedroom: Spacious queen-sized bed, your own 32-inch smart TV, and a private bathroom for your ultimate convenience and comfort.
2nd bedroom: Comfortable full/twin bunk bed with natural light and blackout windows, perfect for sleeping late. There's also a small pull-out twin bed.
3rd bedroom: Perfect for kids. Comfortable full/twin bunk bed with natural light and blackout windows, perfect for sleeping late. There's also a small pull-out twin bed.
Kitchen: L-shaped island with tall stools so families can chat over breakfast. Fully equipped with utensils, plus an oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. The ceiling fan in the living room is perfect for a nice breeze thought the apartment and even more so with the crossed ventilation with the windows opened.
We only provide basic toiletries such as toilet paper, towel paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If there’s something extra that you need we encourage you to bring your own.
We are very proud of the high-security standard in this condo complex, making it one of the top family-friendly places in the area. The entire complex is gated, and all residents must be identified at the guardhouse in order to enter. We have a STRICT NO VISITOR POLICY. We will be needing the names of all the guests staying at the property 48 hrs prior check in.
Due to the HOA regulations no extra guests are allowed after check in nor names can be exchanged after check in.
Pools are open daily from 8 am thru 11:30 pm. Water fixtures such as slide and water cañons are only open on the weekends.
There are 2 assigned parking spaces per unit- so whether you rent one large van or several, you'll always find your own parking space.
The unit is located on a SECOND FLOOR. There are a flight of stairs to access the apartment!
One of the conveniences we have is that we have a code box with the keys. Once you check in into the unit, we are always available by phone to help with any questions and if there is an issue that needs attention at the condo, we can make arrangements for any maintenance needed. When you leave, you can leave appliances off, so you can go directly to the airport on your way home.
There are several supermarkets between the airport and Aquatika, but the most convenient is the 24/7 Walmart Supercenter at the intersection of Rt. 3 and Rt 188 on your way to Aquatika.
Renting your a car is highly recommended. Nonetheless, if you don't rent a car, there is a flat-rate taxi fare from the airport to LOIZA of $60-80 (subject to increase without notice - so check before you get into the taxi). There can be small surcharges for extra luggage or nighttime service from 10 pm - 6 am tolls or more than 5 passengers. If you have any questions, ask the taxi dispatcher who will give you a receipt for the fixed price of the trip before you get into the cab. Tipping is at your discretion but is normally about 10%. Unfortunately Uber rarely works in the island this is why we highly recommend renting a car.
The condo complex requires wristbands to be worn when using the resort facilities. All guests must have a bracelet issued by the condo to use the facilities.
Please provide the names of everyone in your group in advance so we can have the bracelets ready for you. The resort fee is $10 per guest and must be paid at check-in (one-time fee).
The condo management is now strictly enforcing a maximum of 9 (NINE) people per condo - including babies and kids. This means that if you already have 9 people in your group, you can not invite friends or family to the resort. If you only have 6 people staying in your group, you could invite 3 additional friends/family but would have to get bracelets for them. **(Bracelet fee is not included with Airbnb payment. It must be paid at check-in)**
Condo management has a 'no exceptions' policy - so please do not book this condo if you have more than 9 guests or if vacation plans involve inviting local friends or family to the condo. All guest/visitors names should be submitted 48 hours before arrival. If the condo administration asks you to vacate the condo for not following the rules - there will be no refund.
DISCLAIMER regarding electricity and water
In September 2017 Puerto Rico was directly hit by Hurricane Maria. Unfortunately, our power grid has suffered significant damage after the hurricane and over the years. Power and water outages are extremely common on the island and may last from a few minutes to a few hours. Sometimes the power goes once a week or sometimes once a month, it’s completely out of our control. ISLA Prime Property Management will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption of water or electrical services. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances we will refund consumed nights. By booking this unit, we understand that you read our listing descriptions and are aware of the situation.
