Guests staying at a South Lake Tahoe rental must adhere to all City Ordinances. In addition to noise, trash disposal, and parking rules, maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded under any circumstance. Fines of up to $2000 will be imposed by The City of South Lake Tahoe, without warning, for any violations.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great House!

Perfect size for our party of 10. Great location. Had awesome hot tub. Bathrooms were updated and large. Plenty of blankets. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Family reunion & birthday weekend

We came to Lake Tahoe for a family reunion & a milestone birthday celebration. Six adults & 3 kids stayed at this mountain escape. We had a great stay & here are things we wanted to share: Pros - [ ] forested quiet location just a few minutes from town. - [ ] Wonderful family/tv/game room with high A-frame ceiling - [ ] Huge master bedroom w/ beautiful bathroom, huge tub, separate shower. Queen rooms are much smaller. - [ ] Hot tub & new gas bbq, which were attractive features that we were too busy to use, only staying for a long weekend - [ ] Spacious well-appliancied kitchen -[ ] dining table seats 4, balcony has a propane fire table that seats 4

Overall the place was ok. Biggest problems were the heating. The nest thermostat would change the temp on its own. It dropped the temp to 62 degrees at night which is just too low with kids. It also unevenly heated the house, some rooms were freezing while others were sweating. It made it rough to sleep for some members of our party. The water temperature was also an issue. The sink and bath got hot water but not the showers. That was a bummer. Over the place was ok but probably overpriced given the limitations. Also, be aware that there’s two bedrooms upstairs and the only bathroom is in the primary bedroom so at night you’d have to go into a bedroom if you were in the guest bedroom upstairs or walk all the way downstairs.

Ski week.

We enjoyed this lovely property for ski week. My kids and their friends enjoyed the hot tub and the loft area with a huge cozy couch and big TV. We had room for everybody to sleep and then some (we did not need to use one of the beds in the bunk bed room because my daughter and her friend shared one of the bigger beds). The close proximity of hiking trails was an added bonus that was not mentioned in the listing. I do not ski or snowboard but was able to run each day including the day I was "struck" at the cabin without a vehicle on the lovely trails. The trail access is just up the road. My kids also enjoyed playing in the snow on the property. The location is also a short drive to heavenly village for shopping and close to lots of restaurants. We loved that there were lots of towels available for our large group and well as the washer and dryer. In addition to little nice touches like the stands to dry your boots! I was looking forward to sitting and working by the fireplace listed in the amenities but sadly there was a sticker on it saying out of order. In addition. The listing states 4 parking places. Which was critical to us when booking. But the info we got at check in states that only 3 are available during winter storms. Luckily we were able to communicate quickly with vacasa and confirm that we could fit our 4 vehicles on the driveway And avoid a fine. Infact. Communication with vacasa was top notch! I would recommend this cabin!

Disappointing Experience

While our families created unforgettable memories together during our ski vacation, we cannot say the same about our experience with the cabin itself. Unfortunately, the property fell far short of expectations, and numerous issues made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been.To begin, the kitchen was inadequately equipped. There were no basic condiments, minimal containers, no foil or wrap, and shockingly, no toaster. The knives were so dull they were nearly unusable, and there were no wine glasses available—an oversight that significantly impacted our group dinners. Additionally, two burners on the stovetop didn’t work, which made preparing meals a challenge.The cabin’s amenities were also subpar. The hot tub was not cleaned before our arrival, the fireplace was nonfunctional, and while the barbecue appeared new, it was in poor condition and looked older than it should have. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, and the TV’s volume was barely audible, making it difficult to relax indoors after long ski days.Connectivity was another problem. The WiFi was spotty at best, an inconvenience for those of us who needed to stay in touch or check weather and trail updates.It’s worth noting that the joy of our trip came entirely from the company we kept and the activities we enjoyed outside the cabin—not from the accommodations themselves. This property needs significant improvement before we could recommend.it to others.
