This place is beautiful. We’d come back in a heartbeat. The view was better than advertised, super clean , timely communication . My girls absolutely loved it . The only set back was construction going on above us . When I called the 1st time , the agent said they were supposed to have the construction completed before our arrival and would check on it and call back . She called back and told me that unfortunately, there was a water leak emergency in the condo above us. The agent apologized and offered us a reasonable discount, which was much appreciated as we didn’t want to transfer places. This place has truly breath taking views and accommodations were wonderful . I’d recommend to anyone and encourage checking on construction projects before booking .

3 days before we were to check in we were informed there was water damage in the unit. We were given the option of a full refund, finding another place or staying at the unit with a partial refund. We chose the last option as we had our flights and car rental all set. When we checked in, we were charged for parking (not on the listing) The unit was poorly cleaned, we found Doritos and cheese fish under table and couches. Damage was more extensive than told to us. Find somewhere else to stay.

We sincerely apologize for the condition of the unit upon arrival and understand your frustration regarding the unexpected maintenance issues during your stay. Please know that the remaining repairs and damage concerns are actively being addressed and are scheduled to be fully resolved by 6/8/26. Regarding parking, the on-site association does charge a nightly parking fee of $18/day plus tax, which is paid directly to the front desk when obtaining a parking pass. This information is outlined within the listing details. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve both communication and the guest experience moving forward. -CB Island Vacations

This was the perfect stay! Exactly as listed and in a safe neighborhood. Great communication. On the water with the beach just below our balcony. We could watch sea turtles swimming below the surface and we snorkeled just below our balcony. We highly recommend the Royal Kahana and this until in particular! We can’t wait to go back!

Vacation

My family and boyfriend stayed here for 10 nights - This place was truly amazing. The room was huge and had plenty of seating, great TV, beds were very comfortable, nice bathrooms - had everything you needed. The lanai was breathtaking!!! Views of both Lanai and Molokai and perfect views of sunrise/sunset. You could not beat the price for the overall excellent room and views. Would highly recommend!!!

Amazing views and whale watching!

We had the best time and our family loved it and could not stop talking about the view. Our grand daughter has not stopped talking about it and asks to go back everyday. They seem to be in the middle of some updates which made the stay more comfortable. We enjoyed every minute and hated to leave. We will be back for sure!!! The whales and turtles make it that much more special.

Beautiful views

You can’t beat the ocean front view! We stayed during February and sat for hours watching the whales. The unit was very clean but definitely worn. The curtain in the guest bedroom was really bad - detached from the wall and moldy, and the tv in the primary was blocked by the dresser and unwatchable. Rental company was quick to answer questions. If a few updates were made we’d definitely stay again

Aloha Kristen and thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We're happy to confirm there is no mold on the curtains, but we have since addressed them and rearranged the primary bedroom so the dresser no longer blocks the TV. Great views, not so great condo

Mold on the curtains in the guest bedroom, old leak on the ceiling in the main bedroom. This place is surface clean, but needs a deep cleaning, all the vents are covered in dust, top of the fridge is dusty, huge stain on carpets, I could go on…

Good Yet Bad

The location of the property is great. It is one of the few complexes on the shore. When we opened the door we were hit with a strong musty smell trying to be masked by very strong cleaning products. The unit was very much in need of a deep cleaning. The carpet in every room was extremely stained. You could not remove your shoes. There was water damage and parts of the ceiling coming down in the master. The window tracks in the master had a good amount of black mold buildup. All of us wound up congested. I could not stay inside. I spent most of my vacation on the deck. All the woodwork is need of cleaning and paint. Even the vinyl flooring was dirty. The soap pumps were grimy. Vents were coated with dust. The front slider doesn’t have a lock. Unfortunately this unit has not been loved properly. I was pretty ill. Most of the week with breathing issues. The kitchen is small but the one area that was upgraded. If this unit was updated I would definitely recommend it but at this point I would call it a health hazard.I’m really hoping this review will be taken seriously and issues rectified. It makes me very sad to write this type of review.

Aloha Vickie and thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the location and the property’s proximity to the shore. We apologize that your experience didn’t meet expectations. The owner is currently working on updating the unit, with most of the furniture recently replaced, and we're addressing areas that need attention. We appreciate your input and are committed to making improvements. We hope to welcome you back in the future once the updates are complete.
