Be Free in Nature: Discover serenity at `Liberty Log Cabin,` an exclusive retreat nestled atop a picturesque hill in tranquil Brown County. With sweeping countryside views and a commanding vantage point, this fully equipped rental promises an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Strategically designed with two bedrooms at opposite ends of the main level, each boasting its own private bath, this lodge offers both seclusion and convenience. The focal point of the cabin is its great room, seamlessly blending the kitchen, dining area, and living space, all anchored by a river rock gas log fireplace. Step through the doors onto the expansive deck, offering breathtaking long-range views. Head downstairs inside the cabin to find the game room, equipped with a fireplace, pool table, ping pong table, twin day bed with trundle, and various games. Step outside onto the covered patio from the lower level, where you`ll discover a hot tub and TV. The fire pit is located off the back patio for cozy evenings. For your convenience, a Tesla charger is available, but please note that anyone with a non-Tesla EV will need to bring their adapter to use it.
Immerse yourself in nature as you observe the abundant wildlife across the sprawling 13-acre property, or embark on nearby adventures such as paintball, ATV tours, horseback riding, or ziplining. Explore the charming antique shops, artists` studios, and galleries in nearby Nashville, just a few miles away. Delight in cultural experiences by attending a movie, musical event, or play at the Brown County Playhouse, or indulge in country line dancing at Mike`s Dance Barn. With Brown County State Park nearby, boasting scenic drives and trails for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking across 16,000 acres of natural beauty, there`s no shortage of ways to enjoy life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness at Liberty Cabin.
Please note: During winter months, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is recommended due to the steep driveway.

+ Fee is $100 PER pet with a 2 pet limit. No cats allowed.
+ Extra guest fee is $25/night/guest
+ Please let us know if you need firewood. We can add it on for $35 per 1/4 rick.

We could not have found a more perfect cabin, and we’ve stayed in several in this area over the years. The house was perfect, clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of cozy blankets and towels, the cabin is full of fun amenities for both entertainment and relaxation. We loved watching the game (Go Buckeyes) from the hot tub, and got in a a few rounds of pool. Close drive to downtown Nashville where we enjoyed all the shopping & good food! We will be back, thank you!

Amazing and beautiful property. The scenery is so amazing, peaceful and like being in a part of Heaven! The property was exquisite very clean and inviting, unwinding after a long hike in the beautiful hot tub while star gazing and having a peaceful fire burning and reflecting on your day! The Host had everything you could want and the property for the peace of mind needed! God Bless You i will definitely be staying here again!

Beautiful home and surroundings. We stayed for a week. Cutest downtown. Deers do come right up to the house so if you have furry friends with you, you might want to be careful. Home was well equipped. No washing machine was kind of a bummer but they did mention it in the description so we were prepared. We had a great time in the game room. It had everything to keep a rainy day entertaining. They also sent someone to do a mid stay service, which we appreciate. Usually we avoid hot tubs but this one we did use. Marissa was very responsive and patient to all my questions. Overall we had an amazing time.

Wonderful Holiday Weekend

Cabin and property were great! There were lots of activities and amenities included and the host was very accommodating of us traveling with our dog. Our group was four adults, so we really appreciated that there are essentially two master suites each with their own large bed, tv, bathroom etc. It's in a great location, close enough to everything but private enough to feel like a true getaway!

Lovely log cabin

Really enjoyed relaxing in the midst of nature in this very comfortable cabin. Loved the hot tub! The cabin was very well equipped and welcoming. Hope to return some day.

Exceptional!

We lived staying here. The kitchen had all the amenities and then some to fix your meals there if you wanted. There was also a Keirig, Nespresso, and coffee maker. The Keirig and Nespresso both had pods provided. Downstairs there was a cabinet full of games, a pool table, ping pong table, , dart board, and comfortable seating. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day of fun. We also made s'mores a cpuple nights by the fire out nack as well. There was just so much to do and it was just a beautiful setting to do it. This host is exceptional as well.

Easy Getaway

We stayed a few days to run around Nashville and get a hike in at Brown County State Park. Everything was a breeze and the little had fun with the amenities offered.

Awesome cabin!

Great cabin within driving distance of Nashville IN which is a Great little small town with great food and shopping! Husband and I had a very nice and relaxing weekend at the cabin and even had a little competitive fun with pool and ping pong! Everything you can imagine all in the cabin!

A perfect couples retreat

Our stay at Liberty Cabin was everything we hoped for. Clean, well appointed space in a beautiful and private location. There was an issue with the hot tub on day one (it's February, it happens). A crew was sent over within an hour and they had us up and running again. They even sent a crew to plow the driveway and shovel the walks after it snowed!

Quick anniversary escape

The location is perfect. The cabin feels very private, but is still very close to town, wineries, restaurants. The cabin is very well maintained and clean. There’s tons of stuff to do inside and out. You can relax in the hot and still watch the flat screen tv under the back deck. We spent a couple very relaxing days hanging out at the cabin and 1 full day walking around the shops in town. We look forward to coming back here in the summer.

Great Family Thanksgiving!

Very well thought out cabin retreat! Terrific location and amenities. We were surprised and delighted with the welcome snacks and other household supplies. Beds were very comfortable and the entire place was very clean! Only thing that would make the cabin better would be a washer and dryer. It was a great experience overall and we would highly recommend Liberty Cabin to others!
