ウッドヘブンキャビンは、シェリダンイリノイ州の歴史的なグレンパークにあるフォックスリバーを見渡す森の中にある、新しくアップグレードされた魅力的な丸太小屋です。 オープンキッチン、ダイニング、石造りの暖炉のあるリビングルームエリア。 ご家族やご友人は、2階のベッドルームに加えて、クイーン布団と2つのフルバスルームのある階下の寝室で快適に眠ります。

ロッキングチェアとフォックス川の景色を望むフロントポーチ、グリル付きのリアデッキ、森に囲まれたファイヤーピットエリア。 犬を歓迎し、車椅子でアクセスできます（制限事項についてはお問い合わせください）。 シカゴの南東65マイルの静かな場所。ノルウェーのスカイダイブシカゴの屋内ウォーターパーク、スターブドロック/マティソンから30分。

Peaceful and serene location just off the Fox River toward the end of a dead end lane and surrounded by trees. Just what we needed at the end of our busy days. The cabin is quaint and cozy with plenty of room for the entire group to both be together or find a place to cozy up with a book. We didn’t need for anything as the hosts supplied adequate essentials. Cleanliness is a top priority for our family and this home sparkled.

Wonderful views from windows and beautiful outdoor scenery surrounding the property. The property is spacious and comes with a lot of Tvs' in each room to stay entertained.

Great weekend getaway from the city! Super dog friendly, spacious bedrooms for their crates. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Walking distance from Fox Hollow River Tubing! The host was easy to contact and very welcoming. We even found an N64! Overall an incredible birthday weekend.

Incredible cabin with drivable access to lovely places! We will be staying again! Brilliant hosts who are more than happy to answer questions and send along suggestions on their favourite places to go. Only thing we didn’t realize from the listing was that it wasn’t on the river- but that ended up not really mattering because it was such a lovely and comfy place to stay. Highly recommended!!

The cabin was outfitted with everything you would need. It was spotless and decorated very nice. The front porch was covered so we could even sit out there in the rain. We enjoyed the hummingbirds and wrens. The back port was smaller but still big enough for 4 chairs. The firepit was great. It was situated on brick pavers so bugs were at a minimun. We did expect more outside privacy but no one bothered us. In fact, the neighbor across the street helped us get in the cabin.In out opinion, the only downside was the inside stairs to the bedrooms. The stairs were steep and made from split logs. Since we were all seniors they were a challenge but we took them slow and made full advantage of each trip up or down.Overall, the cabin was great and the owners were extremely helpful.

Serene and Peaceful

Outstanding log cabin overlooking the Fox River. Very peaceful and serene setting! Lovely to be able to bring our family dogs with us while we were having our hardwood floors refinished. Owners are simply marvelous and helpful!!

Missing this cabin already!

This is our second time staying at this cabin and each time we have now left wishing we had been able to stay longer! The cabin is charming and oh so comfortable! We can’t wait to stay here again and highly recommend this location! Thank you to the owners for being so accommodating and easy to reach when ever we had a question.

Cozy Cabin in the woods

We had such a nice stay at this cabin. The fireplace was cozy and easy to work! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a romantic dinner. Truly a lovely space to spend a cozy weekend with someone you love!

Cozy dog friendly cabin near Chicago

Great cabin as pictured and only 2 hours from Chicago and 30 minutes to Starved Rock. In a quiet rental property community on Fox River. Would definitely stay again! Only minor issues were slow wifi and dvd player not working.

Home away from Home

Our trip back to our roots to be with family over the Thanksgiving holiday was just what we hoped for! The cabin was spacious, tidy and cozy. Our pups loved watching out the back door at the family of deer that welcomed us one morning. Morning coffee and checkers by a fire each morning with our adult son’s was special. The neighborhood was quiet and private. It was a bit cold to sit outside, but look forward to that next time. Thank you for letting us stay! The Holt’s

woodsy get away

This large but cozy cabin is made for get aways - where one wants to in the woods but near lots of things to do! Plenty of sitting areas for entertainment, wifi works perfectly and the fireplace is ready to go! The water temp and pressure is great (which is a big deal for me). The house sits a bit on a hill, so was very private even though there are a few other homes on the dead on road. Cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay!

Woodhaven Cabin is a wonderful weekend getaway--we love it and enjoy sharing it with others who enjoy nature and feeling like you are in the north woods of Wisconsin yet only 65 miles from Chicago! Lots of small towns and so many parks to explore. We love drinking our coffee or sipping wine on the front porch, listening to the birds and watching the antics of hummingbirds
