We never received a code for the front door lock box. We were only able to get in as we arrived when the cleaning crew was leaving. Not sure what that was about. Great place and very clean! Need to add a can opener.

Amazing location and beautiful townhome. The view is great of the water and watching the ships going up the river. One quick highlight is there is a new townhome under construction and the work gets started at 7 am.

Savannah Reunion

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent the weekend with 2 other couples for a mini reunion. Loved the location, private bathroom and bedroom for each couple and it had everything we needed. This is not really a "river front" property. It is one street back. You can not see the river from the deck/balcony. Also, tons of constuction in the area. We were not told that when we booked. Please do no include a photo of a BBQ if you do not have one. I must say that after I asked for a late check out, I was quickly given a complimentary one. I would highly reccomend Lucky Savannah to others. It overall, was a great stay!

This property was perfect for us with easy walkway along the river to historic Savannah. The rental was clean, up to date appliances, nice layout with private en-suite sleeping areas and accessible living area with kitchen, living area, dining and balcony. The house was immaculately clean and included a starter supply of kitchen and bath essentials - much appreciated! We loved the river views, as well as the location on the river walk. The layout was perfect for our group that needed three bedrooms and baths. We had a maintenance issue that was resolved quickly within a couple of hours. The location was really nice. We watched a steady stream of boats which was interesting and access to all of the action was around a mile walk along the river. The development where the condo is located is not quite there yet but in about a year will be booming.

Spring break

Check in process was easy. Unit was very clean and well stocked with everyday items needed to cook/clean. Loved the area, quiet and safe. We enjoyed watching the barges come and go. Close proximity to shopping and dining. Tybee island and the lighthouse not too far away either. Would recommend this place to others.

Great Location by the River!

This well appointed townhome was the perfect base as we explored the beautiful city of Savannah. Five adults and three great bedrooms with en-suite baths made for comfortable accommodations for our crew. The open concept, living and kitchen area provided the best place to begin and end our day. FYI-lots of steps so make sure everyone is able to navigate this feature.

Beautiful property. Located on the river in walking distance to local food and bars. They have a coffee pot, only provided enough coffee for 1 pot. I would recommend brining your own grounds if you drink a lot of coffee (I do!) I would definitely book this Property again!!

Fabulous!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a terrific stay at Southern River Retreat. Location was convenient for a walk along the river to shops, restaurants and bars. Great coffee shop with wonderful croissants and baguette just a block away. Property was clean, modern, and well stocked for a few days. The kitchen is not really stocked for the more robust cooking/baking be like to do, but we were able to get by. Management provided excellent customer service. Just a watch out - there appears to be the beginnings of construction between this unit and the river, so that lovely view may go away at some point. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend renting from Lucky Savannah!

Amazing Stay in Savannah!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is just amazing. The home is beautifully decorated and every room was spotless. I love that every guest had their own room and bath. We were able to walk to the Riverfront area and enjoy the various restaurants and stores. I would love to return and see how the immediate area has progressed with more restaurants and shops. There is a coffee shop about 5 minutes away which is recommended - very good coffee, breakfast sandwiches and yummy pastries. The management office was also amazing -- we arrived very early and they were able to store our luggage so we were able to sightsee early! I would definitely recommend this property to all.
