Original log cabin on Whalen Lake. Walk right out your front door to the lake on a level lot. Nice patio to hang out and enjoy the view of the lake. Our propane and charcoal grills sit on the patio for cooking your favorite meal while watching the lake at the same time. Also enjoy the great views of the lake around a crackling fire in the firepit. Stay connected with our free Wi-Fi. The cabin is compact but has plenty of room for up to 4 people. Don't miss your chance to stay at this authentic lake front log cabin.
Features:
Snowmobile trails close by, ride in ride out right from the cabin. Trails are accessible from the campground behind and directly across US 10.
There is paid trailer parking available for ORV and snowmobile trailers across the street at the neighbor's property. You can pay the owner directly.
Hiking and biking trails close to the cottage in Leverentz Lake State Forest Campground.
Quiet no wake lake.
Great fishing with bluegills and peach in the lake.
There are 2 kayaks, a rowboat and a paddle boat for your use.
Close to town for any shopping needs.
Great places to eat including Barski, Shoeys Log Bar and Chase Creek Smokehouse.
We have a number of neighbors with dogs so if you have a dog, please keep it on a leash when outside.

Please note that you will be sent our rental agreement once you book your stay.

We came in the fall time peek season for the colors. The lake was beautiful with all the color of the trees.Looks like a great place to visit in the summer too. Cabin was clean and cozy to stay in. It was great taking our dog for walks around part of the lake and to the campground in the area. We will book again!

Such a nice little place to get away and relax! Great internet service, very peaceful area. Super comfy chairs and beds. Everything you need to get away and relax. We enjoyed the row boat and fished. Campfire by the lake was so nice! Will totally be back again in the future!

Very cozy, comfortable and clean. The only negative was the water. It was so bad it little smelled like rotten eggs. Could not use it to brush our teeth or for anything in the kitchen. Taking a shower was difficult due to the rotten egg smell.

Long weekend getaway

It was a nice place. Got super hot in their due to the windows not opening. The water was great. Loved the lake. We would definitely go back. Thank you!
