Authentic Reconnection With Nature - Lakeside RV Camping in North Florida
Cedar Canyon Quarry is a family-owned property that was once a lime rock mine which has been inactive since the 1970's and has since "rewilded" itself with hundreds of red cedars. The lake itself which is located within a canyon and surrounded by cliffs has numerous connections to the Florida Aquifer via underground springs and is filled with bass, bluegill, catfish, perch, and even a small population of freshwater eels! Less than an hour from Gainesville and only 2.5 miles from the Ichetucknee river, we are available by appointment only 7 days a week, 365 days per year. At this time we do not have tubes or kayaks for rent so you will need to bring your own.

I actually grew up right here on this property! The quarry has been in my family for four generations and I feel a deep spiritual connection with the land, the lake, the fish, and even the deer that come here for fresh water.

I didn't .... it chose me. With the Ichetucknee, Santa Fe, and Suwannee Rivers all converging nearby, you can feel the sacred energetic vibrations of earth in their purest form in this area. You can feel a connection with the living spirit of the lake as well as the protective energy of the trees which surround it.
