Sandcastle condo C-1- Indoor Pool- Family/Pet Friendly-Family Getaway

Sand Castle Condo C-1 is located in a small condo community at the quiet Tolovana end of Cannon Beach, one block from the beach and the Tolovana Wayside Park.


An ideal setting for a family getaway, this first level, end unit provides easy in-and-out access of the complex. The hardwood floors, nautical decor, and gas fireplace create a warm, beach-y atmosphere, while the open living and dining areas provide easy, outdoor access to a private and enclosed deck area from two sliding doors. The well-stocked kitchen has all that's needed to whip up those fun, family meals.


The master bedroom features a King size bed and adjoining bathroom, while the second bedroom provides a Queen size bed as well as a Twin bed. The living room has a hide-a-bed for extra guests, and an additional Twin roll-a-way bed is provided. The hall bathroom has a bathtub and shower, and a convenient stackable washer/dryer are available for your use.


Your family will enjoy the indoor pool at the complex, as well as the the small playground area at the Tolovana Wayside Park across the street.


Accommodates 8 maximum; pets welcome / 2 maximum; no smoking; parking for 2 vehicles (single garage and one parking space).

3 night minimum stay, except during the summer months.
7 night minimum stay for the summer months.



Deck Furniture and BBQ's are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Great location, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and very clean unit. However renters should know that it does not have air conditioning nor does it have fans which can be a problem during summer heat waves.

Great Stay in Cannon Beach

We had a great holiday weekend in Cannon Beach. House was as advertised. Great location with easy walk to the beach and being next door to the grocery store was convenient.

Reviewer Comments: It was cozy for a rainy kind of trip to the beach. 2 bedrooms were handy with a second bed in one of the rooms. fireplace and heating system was responsive and warm. Like all places on the coast the wet environment definitely takes a toll on the wood and this place was no exception. But with that said everything was nice you could just feel and see the decay. Great games, blankets, kitchen ware and lighting. (I draw a lot)

Our beach stay!

It was great for our family. Two young children, two adults and one small dog. We really were only there at night to sleep, otherwise at the beach! The kids used the pool only one time. The condo was nice, but it would not sleep 8 comfortably, but was great for four. We would rent again!

Beach Condo

Our stay at the Sandcastle Condo C-1 was good. It was a pretty good location for Cannon Beach and we had a great time hanging out. The condo did have a musty smell and there was some water damage on the walls in the dining room. We were surprised that there was no complimentary coffee at the Condo. Every VRBO we have rented has always had complimentary coffee. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. The condo does need an update. The pool looked dirty and there was no hot tub or at least it was boarded up.

vrbo managed by a management companywe have stayed in this location several times. there are now some things in disrepair and it was lacking some of the basic vrbo amenitiesdisrepair : hole in screen off of dining room making it unable to leave glass door open due to screen hole.blind in main bedroom very difficult to use and broken slatscloset door in bedroomRT side very difficult/ unable to opensliding door off of dining very hard to closelackign basics in kitchen (no oil, foil, plastic wrap) laundry- minimal laundry soap, no softener. bathroom(needed more TP, no shampoo, cleanser, conditioner)

Really enjoyed the location of the Sandcastle Condo. The place was very comfortable. One issue was the sliding glass door, it did not lock and seemed to be off the track as it did not slide well. I spoke with Property Manager and let her know the problem. She was aware and was sending someone out to fix the door. Other than that, the place was great. I loved that there was a special place to take your dog. I would also recommend that you let folks know where the trash bins are. It was quite the mystery. This information could be included in check in information.

Loved the space, all the nice stocked items was very welcoming and convenient, location was amazing, pool was fun. No issues except the master sink and communication. Wasnt clear who or how to contact if issues. Other than that an amazing stay thank you!

My only suggestion would be that the living room rug differently needs freshening.
