This cozy retreat features breathtaking Mountain View’s, a spacious open floor plan, and large windows that flood the interior with natural light. Guests can unwind in the living area with a stone fireplace, relax in the hot tub on the private deck, or enjoy a meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. This weekend was the absolute best trip we decided to take for my partner birthday weekend. The warm and beautiful hospitality was the best decision selecting the house. Everything was clean and easy to access. The beautiful view access to see the mountains.
Asked the host for birthday decorations. Did not disappoint and had it ready before our arrival.

We booked this cabin last minute and it looked exactly like the photos showed. The view was incredible and the amenities were nice (hot tub, media room and multiple bedrooms available). The only downside was the road leading us to the cabin. As we expected it to be “off the beaten path” we did not expect the road to be washed away with tons on potholes and blind spots to get in and out. If you plan to travel here, make sure to drive a 4x4 vehicle or there would be no way of arriving. Other than that, our stay was nice and we would book again!

We started this journey as high school sweethearts. We have grown our family into 5 with our 3 adult children. We write a personal travel blog in the hopes of helping others. We love to find ways to promote a healthy active lifestyle. We hail from the wonderful where it is always winter (or so it seems) state of Indiana.

I am a registered nurse that works in the role of leadership and serve as a Chief Clinical Officer for a large skilled nursing organization. I am also a life long learner and a professor. We also owned Chubb Disc Golf a local sporting goods and entertainment company, in which my husband retired from.

Our goal is to live life to the fullest, in the best way possible. We want to share as much joy with others as possible. We hope you find value in our journey and can take pieces to add to your own.

This cabin is close to everything! If you like theme parks Dollywood competes with Disney and is just down the road. The food scene is outstanding, there is any option you could think of. The cabin is secluded and is one of 3 on a single one lane gravel road.
