I have stayed at this property more than three times, its my favorite place to stay in Ketchikan when I'm here. The place is clean and beautiful and has a million dollar view. Additionally, the host is wonderful and easy to communicate.

The apartment was clean, had all that we needed and was in the most beautiful area! We saw whales, eagles, seals and a sea lion!! It was an absolutely wonderful stay!

Front water views is amazing, saw whale and seals swam by. Kitchen includes everything you need to cook a great meal. The host is fantastic, very responsive and easy to communicate. This was my second stay and plan to come back again.

Magical place

We loved our stay with Jessie and Eric!! Their place was spotlessly clean, well stocked and appointed, and in a peaceful part of the island. Right on the water with the most beautiful views! Bald eagles nest close by and we watched them fly and feed, as well as a little family of land otters swimming right out front. Jessie and Eric are super hosts-very friendly and accommodating. Hope to stay here again. Nothing not to love about this place!!

Favorite VRBO in Alaska

Absolutely exceeded our expectations. My wife and I stayed here for 5 days in June and the first thing that hits you is the incredible view out the front picture windows. Eagles, occasional seals and whales, lots of fishing boats and cruise ships. Very quiet place, well equipped for our stay. This is the first place we will try to book for future trips to Ketchikan. Hosts are very friendly, helpful yet unobtrusive.

Ample kitchen bed and bath with a great view

We cooked all our meals for 10 days and wanted for nothing in that kitchen. Majestic views and marine mammals for our dining pleasure. Hospitable insider information and doting attention from our hosts. Centrally located, but not busy or noisy. Owners live upstairs and occasionally you hear movement, but this did not distract from our wonderful experience. Would return in a snap.

Spectacular view every day

Stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. The view out of the two picture windows facing the ocean was mesmerizing for two land-locked folks from Nebraska. The unit was very clean, new and nicely decorated. Kitchen appliances, utensils, pots and pans, glasses, plates and bowls all very clean and high quality. Saw star fish from the chairs overlooking the water one day, and an eagle perched within 30 feet of our window on another day. Drive into Ketchikan is quick, as well as the drive to Herring Cove in the other direction only a few miles away where you can view bears. We would definitely stay here again if our travels took us back to Ketchikan.

A great place to stay!

This was our first stay in a vrbo/bnb and it did not disappoint. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The apartment is nicely done with big windows to look out at the ocean. The view was beautiful and the whales were incrediable to watch. We loved having a washer/dryer to use and the apartment was stocked with a few miscellaneous items to use for cooking, laundry or bathing. That was very helpful. Incredible experience

This spot by far is the best rental I have ever stayed in. It’s the perfect little spot for getting the relaxing views of the water and nature while being in a quieter, but very accessible area. The hosts are the kindest people, and always available to help or have a nice chat. They have thoughtfully curated the perfect space for their guests down to the smallest details. I could not recommend this spot enough for your visit to Ketchikan, and hope to return in the future. Thank you!

Do yourself a favor and stay with Eric and Jesse! Not only is the place over the top awesome, the hosts are the absolute best!!! The pictures on their listing don't do it justice.....you HAVE to see this in person. The views, the wildlife, the peacefulness, ending each day with a fire by the ocean.....the list goes on and on! We stayed 14 nights and the living space is absolutely perfect for 2 and has everything you need. Eric and Jesse went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were very helpful with "insider tips of the island". Cried when we left if that tells you anything! We are already planning our visit for next year and plan on staying much longer! Thank you Eric and Jesse for making our trip better than we could have imagined! See you in 2026!
